Lab-Grown Diamond Engagement Rings Compared: 5 Picks From 3 Online Jewelers and Their Fine Print

JNCY gives 30 days and a free US return label; Rose Majester lists bigger stones for less, but its made-to-order rings may be final sale; Lola Ade sells settings only and takes no returns.

Updated October 24, 2026 · 5 reviews compared

This page compares five lab-grown diamond engagement rings sold online by three jewelers: JNCY Jewelers, based in Miami; Rose Majester, which describes itself as factory-direct and whose company was founded in 2023 in Changsha, China; and Lola Ade, a Los Angeles jeweler whose engagement rings are built in steps, the setting first and the diamond second. The picks are sorted by need, from a one-carat round solitaire listed from $636.70 to a two-carat hidden halo at $2,750, as priced on October 23, 2026.

The biggest difference between the three is what happens if the ring is wrong. JNCY's refund policy says to return a ring within 30 days from when it ships, with a free FedEx label on US orders, but its FAQ says refunds are possible for up to 7 days after delivery, so confirm the window before relying on 30. Rose Majester gives 30 days from delivery and refunds the product value and standard shipping, but you pay the return shipping, and its returns page lists ring size adjustments and metal changes as special orders, which are final sale. Lola Ade accepts no returns on fine jewelry; a damaged or defective piece must be reported within 14 days for an exchange or repair.

Sizing matters almost as much, since a proposal ring is often bought without asking the wearer's size. JNCY includes one free resize within a year for its standard ring styles in sizes 4 to 10, except eternity bands. Lola Ade includes one free resize within the first 6 months on styles that can be resized, up to 2 sizes, then charges $80 for gold and $100 for platinum. Rose Majester's pages describe no resizing service. On paperwork, Rose Majester's FAQ says every piece over $500 comes with an IGI jewelry report; JNCY's listings name IGI without a report number, and its refund policy withholds $100 for a missing certificate; with Lola Ade, the report depends on the diamond you choose.

JNCY ships free by USPS from Miami: in-stock rings in 1 to 4 business days and made-to-order ones in about two weeks. Rose Majester ships free worldwide on most orders, with duties included for most destinations, after 10 to 18 business days of production for made-to-order pieces. Lola Ade ships fine jewelry only within the United States. We found no Trustpilot or BBB page for any of the three in October 2026; JNCY's only outside ratings are three 5.00 scores without text on ProvenExpert.

1. Oval pave ring with a 30-day return

JNCY 1.33 ctw Oval Lab Diamond Pave Engagement Ring

A 1.00 ct oval lab-grown center, listed as colorless (D-E) with VS2+ clarity, set above a pave band of 14 small round diamonds for 1.33 ctw in total. One price of $1,950 covers 14k yellow, white or rose gold in sizes 4 to 10. The listing names IGI but gives no report number and no cut grade for the oval. It is the pick for a buyer who wants room to change their mind: JNCY's refund policy allows 30 days with a free FedEx label in the US, though its FAQ says 7.

Best for
Someone who wants an oval lab-grown center stone with a pave band of small round diamonds.
Skip if
You need a cut grade for the oval center stone or a report number in the listing.

2. Biggest stone for the money

Rose Majester Minimalist 4ct Oval Muse Solitaire Ring

A made-to-order solitaire with a 4 ct oval lab-grown diamond on a 2.0 mm band, listed from $1,499.90 to $1,775.40 depending on the options, in platinum or 9K, 14K or 18K gold. Color and clarity are given as minimums (F or better, VS2 or better) rather than the grades of one stone, and an IGI report is stated. There is no ready-to-ship version: production takes 10 to 18 business days, and because the returns page counts metal changes and size adjustments as final-sale special orders, ask in writing whether your order can be returned before you pay.

Best for
Someone who wants a 4ct oval solitaire and will choose the metal when ordering.
Skip if
You want to see one specific diamond or a ready-to-ship ring before buying.

3. One-carat round solitaire under $700

Rose Majester Vienna Classic Solitaire Ring 1ct

A plain four-claw solitaire with a 1.0 ct round lab-grown diamond on a 2.0 mm band, listed from $636.70 to $779.10 in platinum or 9K, 14K or 18K gold. Of the five, it costs the least for a complete ring with a one-carat center. Color and clarity are ranges (F and better, VS2 and better), an IGI report is stated, and the description mentions diamonds in the plural while the specs list a single stone. Like the 4 ct oval, it is made to order, with the same question about returns.

Best for
A buyer who wants a plain four-claw round solitaire on a 2.0 mm band with no accent stones.
Skip if
You want accent stones, exact grades or a ring that is ready to ship.

4. Two-carat round with a hidden halo

JNCY 2.05 ctw Round Lab Diamond Hidden Halo Engagement Ring

A 2.00 ct round lab-grown center, listed as D-E color, VS2+ clarity and excellent cut, held in claw prongs over a hidden halo, with 10 tiny side stones that add 0.05 ct, for $2,750 in 14k yellow, white or rose gold. IGI is named for the center stone without a report number, and no weight in grams is listed. It costs the most of the five, and it comes with JNCY's 30-day return terms and one free resize within a year.

Best for
Someone who wants a round lab-grown solitaire with a hidden halo and IGI named for the center.
Skip if
You need a weight in grams or a report number stated in the listing.

5. Setting for a diamond you choose yourself

Lola Ade Moyo Four-Prong Solitaire Engagement Setting

A slim four-prong solitaire setting, about 2 mm wide, that holds one center stone in any of ten shapes, from round and oval to marquise and radiant. The $995 price (14K gold; $1,295 in platinum) is for the setting alone: Lola Ade's ring builder adds the diamond in a later step, and its FAQ says its consultants can source natural or lab diamonds. Fine jewelry is made to order, ships only within the US and cannot be returned, so it suits a buyer who already knows the size and shape they want.

Best for
A shopper who has a center-stone shape in mind and wants a four-prong solitaire on a slim 2mm band.
Skip if
You want accent diamonds on the band, or a price that already includes the center diamond.

How we compared

We compared these rings from the stores' product listings, as summarized in our full review of each, and from their refund, shipping, warranty and FAQ pages. Those pages were first read on October 19 and 20, 2026, and reloaded on October 24, 2026: thirteen of fifteen were unchanged, and Lola Ade's sales terms and About page, which could not be reloaded that day, are used as read on October 20. We have not handled these rings; the grades, weights and prices are the listings' own, and we have not seen any of the diamond reports.

Where a store's own pages disagree, this page says so: JNCY's refund window (30 days on its refund policy, 7 days in its FAQ), Rose Majester's delivery times (its shipping page and FAQ give different figures) and Lola Ade's production time (1 to 4 weeks on its shipping page; 4 to 6 weeks for custom rings and 6 to 8 weeks of production in its FAQ). The picks are labeled by need, not ranked against each other; each price comes from the pick's review and was last checked on the date shown beside it.

Each pick links to its full review and the sources behind it. How we research

Questions before you buy

Which of these jewelers accepts returns?

JNCY's refund policy allows 30 days from when the ring ships, with a free FedEx label on US orders; its FAQ says 7 days after delivery, so confirm first. Rose Majester allows 30 days from delivery for eligible items and refunds the product value and standard shipping, but you pay return shipping, and custom and special orders (including size, metal or setting changes) are final sale. Lola Ade accepts no returns on fine jewelry; report a damaged or defective piece within 14 days for an exchange or repair.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

GIA says laboratory-grown diamonds have the same crystal structure as natural diamonds, tightly bonded carbon atoms, and nearly the same chemical, optical and physical properties. By eye the difference can be indistinguishable, but gemological laboratories can detect the different growth history with advanced instruments. They are grown by high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) or chemical vapor deposition (CVD).

Do the rings come with a diamond report?

Rose Majester's FAQ says every piece over $500 comes with an IGI jewelry report, which it says verifies the diamond's grades and the setting's metal; some of its listings sell the report as an option, so check yours. JNCY's listings name IGI for the center stone but give no report number, and its refund policy withholds $100 if a certificate is missing from a return. With a Lola Ade setting, the report depends on the diamond you pick in the ring builder.

What if the ring size is wrong?

JNCY offers one free resize within a year of purchase for standard styles in sizes 4 to 10, except eternity bands, and other sizes for a fee. Lola Ade offers one free resize within 6 months on styles that can be resized, up to 2 sizes up or down, then $80 for gold and $100 for platinum. Rose Majester's pages describe no resizing service, and its returns page treats a ring size adjustment as a final-sale special order, so confirm the size before ordering.

Do they ship outside the US?

JNCY ships to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, South Korea and the United Kingdom for a flat $50 by USPS Priority Mail International, and international buyers pay the return shipping. Rose Majester ships free to over 100 countries on most orders, with duties included for most destinations, including the EU. Lola Ade ships fine jewelry, including engagement rings, only within the United States.

How long until the ring arrives?

JNCY ships in-stock rings in 1 to 4 business days and made-to-order ones in about two weeks, free by USPS, with FedEx 2Day for $25 in the US. Rose Majester needs 10 to 18 business days to make a made-to-order ring, then 3 to 7 business days by courier on orders of $500 or more; its FAQ gives longer figures. Lola Ade's shipping page says 1 to 4 weeks for fine jewelry, sent by UPS 2-day with an adult signature; its FAQ says 4 to 6 weeks for custom rings.
