How to choose Subwoofer Amps & Bass Shakers
All nine reviews here come from one store, Douk Audio's store at doukaudio.com (five Douk Audio and four Nobsound), at $36.99 to $279.99 as priced on October 23, 2026, and they are two kinds of product. Seven are amplifiers for a subwoofer or bass shaker, a transducer that vibrates a seat or platform with low-frequency sound, felt more than heard: the G100, BSA-600, G4, G2 Mini, G2 PRO, NS-03G SUB and NS-21G. Two are the shakers themselves, the BS-2 ($36.99, 30W) and BS-1 ($99.99, 50W), which need an amplifier. Compare the power rating and the load it is quoted at. The G100 gives 50W x 2 at 4 ohms or, in its mono mode, 100W x 1 at 2 ohms; the BSA-600 230W RMS at 2 ohms bridged (two channels combined into one) and 115W RMS at 4; the G2 Mini 100W at 2 ohms; the NS-03G 100W into 4 ohms; the NS-21G 100W matched to 4-8 ohms. The G4 (100W rated, 300W peak) and G2 PRO (300W maximum) do not tie their figures to a load.
Match the amplifier to what it drives. The G4, G2 Mini, G2 PRO, NS-03G and NS-21G are mono, so a stereo pair needs two; the G100 and BSA-600 list stereo and bridged-mono modes, and the BSA-600 says it can drive up to 4 shakers in mono or 8 in stereo. Check impedance: the BS-1 is 6 ohms and its listing says it must be wired to a stereo or bridged-mono amplifier, the BS-2 is 4 ohms plus or minus 15%, the G100 lists 4-8 ohms in BTL mode and 2-8 ohms in PBTL mode, and the G2 Mini 2-8 ohms. A low-pass filter passes only frequencies below a cutoff: 50-300Hz on the G100, 40-300Hz on the G2 Mini and G2 PRO, 20-160Hz on the NS-21G. The NS-03G is listed at 20Hz-180Hz with no full-range mode, while the G4, G2 Mini and G2 PRO can switch to full-frequency.
Douk Audio's store applies the same terms to every listing: shipping in 2-8 business days with duties, taxes and customs included in the checkout price unless noted; returns requested within 30 days of delivery and approved by Douk first, shipped back within 7 days of approval, with original shipping fees and duties not refunded; and a 24-month warranty for manufacturing defects, although an older policy page still says 1 year. None of the reviews gives a shipping fee or says who pays the return shipping. Power supplies differ: the G4, G2 Mini and NS-03G list a 19V adapter as optional or a checkout choice, so the base price may ship without one, while the NS-21G includes a 19V adapter; the G2 PRO sells its 32V/5A supply as a checkout option too and accepts 24-48V.
Know what you are buying. Neither a shaker nor the G100 plays full-range audio: the G100 review says its low-pass filter limits all outputs, and the BS-2 review says its effect depends heavily on mounting surface and position, so expect some experimenting. The BSA-600 review calls the effect felt rumble, not audible bass, and the shakers are not included with it. Douk Audio recommends installing the BS-1 under seating that is not fixed to the floor. On the NS-21G connect only one of RCA or AUX at a time; the NS-03G has a 3.5mm AUX input only.

Questions before you buy
What is a bass shaker and how does it work?
A bass shaker, or tactile transducer, turns low-frequency signals into vibration instead of moving air like a speaker, so you feel explosions, engine rumble and deep bass through a chair, sofa or platform. The BS-2 ($36.99, 30W) and BS-1 ($99.99, 50W) are not speakers, play no full-range audio and need their own amplifier; the listings sell them singly or as a pair.
Which amplifier do I need for a bass shaker?
One with a low-pass filter and the right load. The BS-2 review recommends a bass shaker or subwoofer amp such as the G100, which is described as made to drive the BS-1 and BS-2. The BS-1 is 6 ohms and must go on a stereo or bridged-mono amplifier. The BSA-600 ($279.99) lists up to 4 shakers in mono or 8 in stereo; the NS-21G ($39.99) is sold for bass shakers and subwoofers.
Do I need two amplifiers for stereo bass?
Five of the seven amplifiers are mono, so a stereo pair means buying two: the G4, G2 Mini, G2 PRO, NS-03G and NS-21G. The G100 can power two shakers at 50W x 2 at 4 ohms, and the BSA-600 lists stereo and bridged-mono output. The G4, G2 Mini and G2 PRO reviews also say two units can drive left and right channels.
What do BTL and PBTL mean on the G100?
They are the G100's two output modes. In BTL it drives two bass shakers at 50W x 2 into 4 ohms. In PBTL, its mono mode, it becomes a 100W x 1 amplifier into 2 ohms for one shaker. Matched impedance is 4-8 ohms in BTL and 2-8 ohms in PBTL, per the listing, so check your shaker's ohms before choosing a mode.
Do these amplifiers come with a power supply?
Some do not. The G4, G2 Mini and NS-03G list a 19V adapter as an optional or checkout choice, and the G2 PRO sells its 32V/5A supply the same way, so pick the version with one if you need it. The NS-21G includes a 19V adapter. The G2 PRO accepts 24-48V, so the top of that range needs a 48V supply bought separately. The G100 lists a DC 15-24V supply requirement.
What are the store's return and warranty terms?
Douk Audio's store allows a return request within 30 days of delivery. Douk must approve it first, the item goes back within 7 days of approval, and original shipping fees and duties aren't refunded. The warranty is 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair or replacement, although an older policy page still says 1 year.
