Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want a dynamic driver with micro planar transducers at $179, a choice of 3.5mm or 4.4mm plug and an itemized contents line. Look elsewhere if you need a planar driver count or a sensitivity figure with a stated reference. The main caveat is that every figure is the store's own, including the tuning description that cites listening feedback and tests.

Why 3.4/5: Two things hold it back: the store's own terms contradict each other, and no independent test of this model was checked for this review, so the figures are the store's alone.

The BQEYZ Frost, from the Weather Series, pairs a 10mm dynamic driver with micro planar transducers and is listed at $179. The numbered specification list gives 32Ω, 113dB and 5-40KHz, a 0.78mm 2-pin connector, a 1.2m cable and 3.5mm or 4.4mm plugs. The page also names a PU and PEEK composite diaphragm and a slightly curved glass faceplate.

Options and pricing

Two options are listed, Frost-3.5mm and Frost-4.4mm, each at $179 and each orderable when the page was read, so the option names differ by plug size. The contents line lists the earphones, one cable, a carrying case, a brush, 6 pairs of silicone ear tips (S/M/L), memory foam S ear tips (quantity 1) and an ear tip holder. The page text gives no description of swappable plugs.

How it compares

The Kinera Celest Phoenixcall 2.0 2DD + 2BA + 2 Planar Drivers IEMs are $169 with 2DD + 2BA + 2 Planar Drivers in the name, and the JUZEAR UNVEIL Series Light Shuttle Vocal-Focused Tribrid IEMs start at $184.99 with 1DD+4BA+2 Micro Planar per side in the spec line. The KEFINE Arnar 1 BA+1 Planar Driver In-Ear Earphones are $189 with a 14.5mm planar driver and a Knowles BA. Against $179 here, the Frost suits buyers who want a dynamic driver with micro planar transducers; the Light Shuttle suits those who want four armatures, and the Arnar those who want a single armature.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • 10mm dynamic driver with micro planar transducers and a PU and PEEK composite diaphragm, per the page
  • Numbered specification list gives 32Ω, 113dB, 5-40KHz, a 1.2m cable and a 0.78mm 2-pin connector
  • 3.5mm and 4.4mm options at the same $179
  • Contents line lists a carrying case, a brush, 6 pairs of silicone ear tips and memory foam tips
  • Cable makeup is itemized: 0.04mm x 32 single crystal copper wires, 0.05mm x 20 oxygen-free copper and 0.06mm x 38 silver plated wires, per the page

Worth noting

  • The page text gives no count of micro planar transducers per side
  • The page text gives no reference level for the 113dB sensitivity figure
  • The page text gives no THD+N figure or shell weight
  • A note on the page cites a third-party curve measurement; the page text gives no name for that party and no curve figures

Questions before you buy

What drivers does the BQEYZ Frost use?

The page lists a 10mm dynamic driver with a PU and PEEK composite diaphragm, plus micro planar transducers. The page text gives no count of micro planar transducers per side.

What are the Frost's impedance and sensitivity?

The numbered specification list gives 32Ω impedance, 113dB sensitivity and a 5-40KHz frequency figure. The page text gives no reference level for the sensitivity.

Which plugs and cable does it come with?

The page lists Frost-3.5mm and Frost-4.4mm at the same $179, on a 1.2m cable with 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. The cable is described as a silver-plated coaxial mixed cable with a 2.3mm outer sheath.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

What we couldn’t verify

  • A note on the page says the curve is measured by a third party and is for reference only; the page text gives no name for that party and no figures from the curve.
  • The page lists 113dB and 5-40KHz; the page text gives no reference level for the sensitivity and no THD+N figure. It writes micro planar "transducers" in the title and specification list but "micro planar driver" in the description, with no count.
  • The page says its engineers combined listening feedback from many listeners with multi-dimensional tests to tune the Frost; the page text gives no names of the listeners and no results.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
