ddHiFi DJ44B 4.4mm to 2.5mm Adapter Review
A ddHiFi adapter listed at $29.99 with a crossed-out $39.99. The page's pictures give the DJ44B a 4.4mm female socket, a 2.5mm male plug and a weight of 5.6g. It suits buyers who need that plug change and accept that the figures come from pictures.

Our verdict
A fit for a buyer who needs a 4.4mm female socket adapted to a 2.5mm male plug and can work from figures read in pictures: 5.6g, an internal wire of mixed 6N OCC and 6N silver-plated OCC, and a shielding ring. Look elsewhere if you need the 3.5mm DJ44C, since the one listed option is named DJ44B, or if you want an in-the-box list. The main caveat is that the pictures read do not settle whether one purchase covers one model or both.
- Best for
- Buyers who need a 4.4mm female to 2.5mm male adapter and accept that the figures come from pictures.
- Skip if
- You need the 3.5mm DJ44C, or an in-the-box list that the pictures read do not give.
Why 3.3/5: Held back by a page that gives no specification list as text and keeps most claims in pictures, by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and by no independent test of this model having been checked for this review.
The ddHiFi DJ44B is listed at $29.99 with a crossed-out price of $39.99, and the pictures give it a 4.4mm female socket on one end and a 2.5mm male plug on the other. The store title names the DJ44B and DJ44C together and adds Mark II, and the pictures show the DJ44C with a 3.5mm male plug. A picture gives 5.6g for the DJ44B and 6.2g for the DJ44C, and another names an internal wire of mixed 6N OCC and 6N silver-plated OCC.

Options and pricing
One option is listed, named DJ44B, at $29.99 with a crossed-out price of $39.99, and it was orderable when the page was read. The store's option field is headed material although its value is a model name. The pictures cover the DJ44B and the DJ44C, but the pictures read for this review do not say whether one purchase includes one model or both, and they give no in-the-box list.
How it compares
The DD ddHiFi XLR44B XLR Male to 4.4mm Balanced Female Adapter is also $29.99, but its name gives an XLR male end and a 4.4mm balanced female end instead of a 2.5mm male plug. The OE Audio CIEM 2pin/MMCX/3.5mm Angled Audio Adapter is $29.99 as well, and its name lists CIEM 2pin, MMCX and 3.5mm. Choose by the connector pair you need: 4.4mm female to 2.5mm male here, XLR male to 4.4mm balanced female on the XLR44B.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
Cables and adapters get three months of warranty from the order date, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs; a note on the same page also excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while the FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- The pictures name a 4.4mm female socket with a 2.5mm male plug on the DJ44B and a 3.5mm male plug on the DJ44C
- A picture gives weights of 5.6g for the DJ44B and 6.2g for the DJ44C
- A picture names an internal wire of mixed 6N OCC and 6N silver-plated OCC
- The pictures describe a gold-plated copper shielding ring at the socket
Worth noting
- The description is pictures with no text, and the pictures read for this review give no in-the-box list and no compatible-device list
- The pictures read do not say whether one purchase includes the DJ44B, the DJ44C or both, and the only option is named DJ44B
- The 19.4mm dimension line is not named in its picture, and four of the page's pictures were not opened at full size for this review

The page's pictures give the DJ44B a 4.4mm female socket and a 2.5mm male plug, and the DJ44C a 4.4mm female socket and a 3.5mm male plug. The only option listed is named DJ44B.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

What we couldn’t verify
- The store title says Mark II and names the DJ44B and DJ44C with 2.5/3.5 male plugs; the pictures read name the DJ44B and DJ44C with no Mark II and do not say whether one purchase includes one model or both.
- Picture headlines about lossless transmission and a smoother, more even plug connection, a socket shielding ring that can block interference, and a lighter, smaller build are claims; the pictures read give no test result or comparison for any of them.
- One picture shows a transparent-shelled 4.4 socket on a ddHiFi cable end, not this adapter, and the 19.4mm dimension line is not named in its picture.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- HiFiGO's warranty page excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while its FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition.
