DUNU DC-11, DC-12, DC-16 Adapters Review
Three DUNU plug adapters share one page: the DC-11 (3.5mm to 2.5mm), the DC-12 (4.4mm to 2.5mm) and the DC-16 (6.35mm to 3.5mm). Options start at $17.99 for a single adapter, and the DC11+DC16+DC12 option is $59.99. It suits buyers who already know which plug conversion they need.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who already know which plug swap they need among 3.5mm to 2.5mm, 4.4mm to 2.5mm and 6.35mm to 3.5mm, and are happy with one model or the DC11+DC16+DC12 option. Look elsewhere if you need dimensions, materials, plating, a named compatible device or an in-the-box list, because the page text and the pictures read for this review give none. Main caveat: the 2.5mm female end is called Balanced Female in some lines and TRRS Female in others.

Why 3.4/5: Held back by a three-line page text that leaves most claims to pictures, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and by plug details that are the store's own, with no independent test checked for this review.
HiFiGO's page covers three DUNU plug adapters: the DC-11 (3.5mm Single-ended Male to 2.5mm Balanced Female), the DC-12 (4.4mm Balanced Male to 2.5mm TRRS Female) and the DC-16 (6.35mm Male to 3.5mm Female). Each model is its own option, from $17.99 for the DC-11 or DC-12 and $29.99 for the DC-16. The page text is three lines, one per model, and the pictures carry the model names and plug types.

Options and pricing
The store's color selector holds four options that are models rather than colors: DC11 3.5mm to 2.5mm at $17.99, DC16 6.35mm to 3.5mm at $29.99, DC12 4.4mm to 2.5mm at $17.99 and DC11+DC16+DC12 at $59.99. All four were orderable when the page was read. The last option is named for all three models, but neither the page text nor the pictures read for this review give an in-the-box list or quantities. The photos show grey metal housings with gold-coloured plugs, and the DC-12 has a black carbon-pattern band.
How it compares
The DAC Decode 4 Pin Male XLR To 2.5/4.4mm Female Carbon Fiber Converter is listed from $45.59 and its spec line reads XLR 4 Pin Male To 2.5/4.4 Female Convert Plug, so it starts from an XLR plug where the DUNU models start from 3.5mm, 4.4mm or 6.35mm. The FiiO IMP XLR-4 Balanced Headphone Amplifier Impedance Adapter costs $39.99; its spec line lists 4.4mm and 4-pin XLR Balanced Dual Output Ports and its name calls it an impedance adapter. The DUNU page suits a plug swap between 3.5mm, 4.4mm, 2.5mm and 6.35mm, from $17.99.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
Cables and adapters get three months of warranty from the order date, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs; a note on the same page also excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while the FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Three plug conversions are listed: 3.5mm to 2.5mm (DC11), 4.4mm to 2.5mm (DC12) and 6.35mm to 3.5mm (DC16)
- Each model is its own option from $17.99, and the DC11+DC16+DC12 option, named for all three, is listed at $59.99
- The page text and the pictures agree on each model's male end: 3.5mm Single-ended, 4.4mm Balanced and 6.35mm
Worth noting
- The 2.5mm female end is worded two ways: DC-11 is Balanced Female in the page text but TRRS Female in picture 01; DC-12 is TRRS Female in the page text but Balanced Female in picture 00
- Neither the page text nor the pictures read for this review give dimensions, materials, plating or an in-the-box list
- Neither the page text nor the pictures read for this review name a player, amplifier or earphone the adapters are meant for

Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
