- Anglers who want a foldable, saltwater-rated seat they can stow when the boat is not in use.
- Skip if
- You need a stated weight rating or a matching pair, or you live outside the 48 continental US.
This folding molded boat seat is Leader Accessories' portable fishing seat at $47.99, down from $59.99. It is aimed at anglers who want a comfortable perch that folds flat when the boat is stowed, and the listing pitches it for fishing, cruising or simply relaxing on the water.
Comfort comes from thick, pressure-relieving marine-grade foam that the listing describes as ergonomically contoured to your body for all-day support. The frame is high-impact plastic with corrosion resistance, rated for both saltwater and freshwater environments. The seat measures 20.4 inches wide, 21.3 inches deep and 14.5 inches high.
Installation is designed to be simple: the seat uses a standard 5.3 x 5.3 inch mounting bolt pattern compatible with most boat bases, and mounting hardware is included in the box. The fold-down design keeps the boat organized and makes the seat easy to transport and store between trips. Six colorways are offered, matching brown, gray or green shells with charcoal, gray or green leather.
One thing to note: this is a single seat, not a pair. Leader Accessories also does not list a weight capacity for this model, so check that against your needs before ordering. Shipping covers the 48 continental US only – no Alaska, Hawaii, international, PO box or APO/FPO addresses. Orders of $70 or more ship free; otherwise there is a flat $10 charge, with 1-2 business days of processing and 2-6 business days of transit. Returns are accepted within 30 days: defective, wrong or incomplete items get a prepaid label, while personal-reason returns are at the buyer's expense. Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned, and exchanges must be requested within 24 hours of ordering, before shipping. This seat is currently discounted from list and counts as a sale item.
