Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want a LAN-streaming desktop DAC with four ES9039SPRO chips, XLR and RCA outputs and a 10MHz clock input at $2,999.99. Look elsewhere if you need the box contents, a load for the output levels or a settled mains voltage before buying. The main caveat is that every figure sits in pictures, most pictures were not read or could not be opened, and no independent test was checked for this review.

Why 3.3/5: Pulled down by a page with no specification list as text and with claims in pictures that were only partly read, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and by every figure being the store's own with no independent test checked for this review.

The GUSTARD X30 pairs four ES9039SPRO chips, two per channel according to a picture on its page, with LAN streaming, and HiFiGO lists it at $2,999.99 in black or silver. The description is 25 pictures with no specification text. Those read for this review show XLR and RCA line outputs, USB, LAN, AES, coaxial, optical and IIS inputs, a 10MHz clock input and an R2R relay volume described as a passive analog preamp.

Options and pricing

X30-BLACK and X30-SILVER are the two options, each $2,999.99 and orderable when the page was read. The pictures read name a 220V/110V voltage switching callout and an AC115V/230V 50/60Hz supply. No in-the-box picture was among those available for this review, so box contents are unknown.

How it compares

The GUSTARD X26III Network Streamer ES9039SPRO X2 DAC costs $1,599.99 against $2,999.99 here and is named with ES9039SPRO X2, where this unit's name says Quad ES9039SPRO*4. The GUSTARD R30 Fully Discrete R2R Streaming DAC costs $3,599.99 and has Fully Discrete R2R in its name, not ES9039SPRO. The X30 suits buyers who want an ES9039SPRO-based DAC with four chips and LAN playback; the X26III suits a smaller budget.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Pictures list four ES9039SPRO chips, two per channel, with a claimed independent power supply and grounding
  • LAN streaming protocols are listed: Roon, AirPlay, UPnP, NAA and Spotify, over a 100/1000Mbps LAN
  • A pictured table gives USB, IIS and streamer input at PCM 44.1kHz-768kHz 16bit-32bit and DSD64-DSD512 Native
  • XLR 5.1Vrms and RCA 2.5Vrms line outputs are listed, with an R2R relay volume and a remote control range of 0dB to -90dB
  • A 10MHz BNC clock input and a built-in OCXO oscillator are listed

Worth noting

  • The page has no specification list as text, and most of its 25 pictures were not read or could not be opened
  • The pictures read give no load for the XLR 5.1Vrms and RCA 2.5Vrms output levels
  • Mains is written 220V/110V in a back-panel callout but AC115V/230V in the spec
  • No in-the-box picture was among those available, so box contents are unknown
  • Some values are printed oddly: RCA output impedance as 100Q and clock input impedance as 50 0hm

Questions before you buy

How many DAC chips does the X30 use?

A picture says it adopts four ES9039SPRO chips, two per channel, in a fully balanced architecture with a completely independent power supply and independent grounding, and a tile reads ES9039SPRO Quad Core.

Which streaming protocols and network speed are listed?

A pictured spec lists Roon, airplay, upnp, NAA and Spotify, with a configuration web page that can open and close the protocols and update online with one click, and a LAN speed of 100/1000Mbps. A picture also says the bridge system was self-developed in cooperation with Celaudio and runs CelWare 3.x on an optimized Linux kernel.

Which digital input formats are listed?

USB, IIS and streamer input: PCM 44.1kHz-768kHz 16bit-32bit, DSD (Native) DSD64-DSD512 and DSD (DoP) DSD64-DSD256, plus MQA decoding. AES, coaxial and optical: PCM 44.1kHz-192kHz 16bit-24bit, no native DSD, DSD (DoP) DSD64, also with MQA decoding.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • Minor conflicts: one picture says Dual IIS-H Inputs while the back-panel labels read IIS and IIS-G, and a callout says 220V/110V voltage switching where the spec says AC115V/230V and the panel print reads 115/230V.
  • The pictures read give no load for the RCA 2.5Vrms and XLR 5.1Vrms levels; RCA impedance is printed as 100Q and the clock input impedance as 50 0hm. Claims such as an R2R relay volume without loss of sound quality and MQA decoding are the page's own.
  • Most of the page's 25 pictures were not read or could not be opened, so specifications and any contents list in them are not covered here.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
  • 6 of the 25 description pictures on HiFiGO's page did not load when we checked on October 29, 2026 (their image host answered "not found"), so anything they showed is not covered here.
