Our verdict
The Splash is a colorway of Leader Accessories' lightweight pickleball set. At $39.99 — down from $69.99 — you get two graphite-faced paddles with polymer honeycomb cores, four pickleballs, and a cover, which is enough for two players to start right away. Two caveats: the listing never publishes paddle weight or grip size, and because it's a discounted item the set can't be returned under the brand's policy.
- Best for
- Beginners and casual players who want a complete two-paddle pickleball kit in the Splash colorway for under $40.
- Skip if
- You live outside the 48 continental US, need published paddle specs, or might want to return a sale item.
This is the Splash colorway of Leader Accessories' Lightweight Pickleball Paddle Set, a two-player starter kit priced at $39.99 against a $69.99 list price. It sits at the budget end of the brand's pickleball lineup: one box with two lightweight paddles, four pickleballs, and a protective cover, pitched at players of any skill level.
The paddles pair graphite faces with polymer honeycomb cores. The graphite face is there for durability and precision, while the honeycomb core is meant to balance power and control. A cushioned grip is described as secure and non-slip for intense matches, and a slim edge guard shields the edge while preserving the size of the hitting surface. Beyond that, the listing publishes no paddle weight, dimensions, or grip size, so there are no further specs to compare.
Leader Accessories ships only within the 48 continental US — no Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, APO/FPO, or international addresses. Orders over $70 ship free; under that it's a flat $10, with 1-2 business days of processing and 2-6 business days in transit. Returns normally run 30 days (prepaid labels for defective or wrong items, buyer-paid for personal reasons), but this set is a discounted item, and sale items aren't returnable at all — so be sure about the Splash colorway before you order.
