Simphonio VR1 Dynamic IEMs Review
A dynamic driver in-ear monitor with a ceramic diaphragm, listed at $2,299 in gold or grey. The page lists 64 ohms, 118+/-3dB and 0.78mm two-pin connectors, names no cable in its package list and calls the Simphonio CS10 cable an optional purchase.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a single-driver IEM with a ceramic diaphragm at $2,299 and who already own, or plan to add, a 0.78mm two-pin cable. Look elsewhere if you need a cable in the box, a driver size stated one way, a CS10 price or any measurement from outside the store. The sound and build claims are the page's words, and no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a single dynamic driver IEM with a ceramic diaphragm and a cable of their own.
- Skip if
- You need a cable in the box, a single driver size or an outside measurement.
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by a specification list in the page text; held back by the store's own contradictory terms and because no independent test was checked for this review, which leaves every figure as the store's own.
Built around a single dynamic driver unit with a ceramic diaphragm, the Simphonio VR1 is listed at $2,299 in gold or grey. The page gives the driver as 14.2mm in its specification lines and 14.3mm in its text, with 64 ohms, 118+/-3dB and 20Hz-40kHz, and the earpieces use 0.78mm two-pin connectors.

Options and pricing
Two colors are listed, gold and grey, each at $2,299 and orderable when the page was read. The page's package list names a leather carry case, three pairs of silicone tips, three pairs of memory foam tips and a user guide, and names no cable. The page says any 0.78mm two-pin cable can be used and calls the Simphonio CS10 an optional purchase in a 4.4mm or 2.5mm balanced plug version; the listed options carry no cable choice and the page text gives no CS10 price.
How it compares
The Softears RS10 10BA IEM In-Ear Monitor Earphone is $2,099.99 with 10BA in its name and a listed 25 ohms, against 64 ohms and $2,299 here. The Moondrop Psyche 2DD+4BA+4 Planar Drivers Reference IEMs are $2,399 with a 4.4mm balanced termination, and the Elysian Apostle 2026 1DD+2BA+2EST 5 Drivers Tribrid IEMs are $1,999 as a 5-driver tribrid. The VR1 suits buyers who want a ceramic diaphragm dynamic driver and own a 0.78mm two-pin cable; the RS10 suits those who want a lower listed impedance and ten armatures.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Single dynamic driver unit with a ceramic diaphragm, per the page, with 64 ohms and 118+/-3dB listed
- The page says any 0.78mm two-pin cable can be used, and lists the CS10 in 4.4mm or 2.5mm balanced plugs as an option
- The page's package list names a leather carry case plus silicone and memory foam tips
- Gold and grey are both orderable at the same $2,299
Worth noting
- The driver is 14.2mm in the specification lines and 14.3mm in the text
- No cable appears in the package list; the CS10 is an optional purchase and the page text gives no price for it
- The listed options (gold, grey) carry no cable choice
- The page text gives no reference level for the 118+/-3dB sensitivity

What we couldn’t verify
- The driver is 14.2mm in the specification lines and 14.3mm in the text, and the faceplate is called ceramic quality in one paragraph and natural opal in another.
- The sound claims (balanced and natural output, no sibilance, no distortion from a single driver) are the page's words; the page text gives no measurement and no reference level for the 118+/-3dB sensitivity.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
