SKW WG20-03 Silver Plated RCA Cable Review

A SKW RCA cable listed from $59.99 for 1m to $149.99 for 5m. The store title calls it a digital coaxial SPDIF cable, but a pictured parameter list says 3.5MM Jack To 2RCA, so the type is unsettled. It suits buyers who check the plug type first.

Our verdict

A fit for a buyer who can confirm the cable type before relying on it, since the store title says digital coaxial SPDIF and one picture shows an RCA plug at each end while the pictured parameter list says 3.5MM Jack To 2RCA. Look elsewhere if you need a settled plug type, diameter and shell material, or an in-the-box list. The main caveat is that the pictures contradict each other on type, diameter and shell, and the store title's OCC appears in none of the pictures read.

Why 3.3/5: No specification list as text, claims that rest on pictures, store terms that contradict each other and no independent test checked for this model are what hold it back.

The store title calls it a digital coaxial SPDIF audio cable, and the SKW WG20-03 is listed from $59.99 for 1m to $149.99 for 5m. The page's pictures disagree about what it is: one shows an RCA plug at each end of a coiled cable, while a pictured parameter list calls it a 3.5MM Jack To 2RCA Cable. The pictures also give black and white color, silver plated copper, a three layer screen, a gold-plated joint and a gift box package.

How it compares

The SKW HC-09A XLR Male To Female 3 Pin Audio Balanced Cable has the same From $59.99 starting price and is named as an XLR cable, a different connector family. The DD ddHiFi RC20A RCA Cable (Available in 20cm / 40cm) starts From $67.99 and is named as an RCA cable in 20cm or 40cm, where the WG20-03 is listed in 1m to 5m. Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

Cables and adapters get three months of warranty from the order date, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs; a note on the same page also excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while the FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • All five lengths, 1m to 5m, were orderable when the page was read
  • A pictured parameter list gives color, silver plated copper, a three layer screen, a 6.5MM cable diameter and a gold-plated joint
  • A picture names the layers: cotton net braided, metal braided shielding, PVC, aluminum foil shielding and carbon fiber
  • A picture names a 24K gold plated copper connector

Worth noting

  • The pictures disagree on the cable type: digital coaxial with an RCA plug at each end in one, 3.5MM Jack To 2RCA in the parameter list, a split dual-RCA end in another
  • Outer diameter reads 8 mm in one picture and 6.5MM or 6.5mm in two others, and the shell is copper alloy in one picture and aluminum alloy in another
  • The store title says OCC Conductor, but the pictures read say Silver Plated Copper and never OCC
  • The pictures read give no cable length of their own or in-the-box list, and twelve pictures were not opened

Questions before you buy

What type of cable is the WG20-03?

The store title names a digital coaxial SPDIF audio cable, and one picture prints Digital Coaxial Audio Cable beside a coiled cable with an RCA plug at each end. A pictured parameter list instead says 3.5MM Jack To 2RCA Cable and another picture shows a split dual-RCA end, so the pictures read do not settle it.

What do the WG20-03 lengths cost?

1m at $59.99, 1.5m at $69.99, 2m at $89.99, 3m at $109.99 and 5m at $149.99, all orderable when the page was read.

What conductor and shielding do the pictures name?

Silver plated copper, a three layer screen, and labelled layers of cotton net braid, metal braided shielding, PVC, aluminum foil shielding and carbon fiber. The store title adds OCC, which the pictures read never state.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give on cables?

Three months from the order date for cables and adapters, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs. HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • Type mismatch: the store title names a digital coaxial SPDIF RCA cable and one picture shows an RCA plug at each end, but a pictured parameter list says 3.5MM Jack To 2RCA Cable and another picture shows two RCA plugs on a split end.
  • Conflicts: outer diameter is 8 mm in one picture but 6.5MM and 6.5mm in two others; the shell is a Copper Alloy Shell in one, an Aluminum Alloy Housing in another and a copper shell in that picture's text; the store title says OCC Conductor but the pictures read never say OCC.
  • Pictured claims of optimal signal transfer and higher fidelity audio, and a sound claim about a stable, thick voice, have no measurement in the pictures read, which also give no cable length of their own or in-the-box list.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
  • HiFiGO's warranty page excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while its FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition.
