Tipsy Dunmer 0.78mm 2-Pin IEMs Review
A 9.2mm dynamic driver in-ear monitor with a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable and a 3.5mm plug, listed at $119. The page lists 16 ohm and 105dB@1kHz and names silicone tips, a pouch and a manual in the package, which suits buyers who want the box contents spelled out.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a 9.2mm dynamic IEM with a detachable 0.78mm 2pin cable, a 3.5mm jack and a box list that names tips, a pouch and a manual at $119. Look elsewhere if you need the active noise reduction entry explained or figures from someone other than the store. The main caveat is that the field list claims active noise reduction for a wired set, with no power source named in the text.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a 9.2mm dynamic IEM with a 0.78mm 2pin cable and a stated list of what is in the box.
- Skip if
- You need the active noise reduction entry explained or a measurement from outside the store.
Why 3.6/5: In its favor: a list of specification figures in the page text. Against it: the store's own terms contradicting each other, and figures that are all the store's, since no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
Tipsy's Dunmer is a 9.2mm dynamic driver in-ear monitor, and this HiFiGO listing, priced at $119, names the 0.78mm 2pin interface in its title. The specification section gives 16 ohm @1kHz, 105dB@1kHz and 20Hz-20000Hz, with a 3.5mm gold-plated jack and an 8 core cable of 1.2m.

Options and pricing
The single option is named Tipsy; it is listed at $119, was orderable when the page was read, and carries no crossed-out price. The cable is described as an 8 core silver-plated copper cable of 1.2m on a 0.78mm 2pin interface with a 3.5mm gold-plated jack. The package list names the earphones, silicone tips, an earphone pouch, a cable and a user manual; the page text gives no tip sizes.
How it compares
The other Dunmer page, TIPSY Dunmer 9.2mm Dynamic Driver In-ear Earphone, is also $119 and its spec line reads Unit: 9.2mm dynamic; compare the figures on both pages before relying on either. The DUNU Kima2 DLC Composite Diaphragm Dynamic Driver IEM is $114.99, and the JUZEAR x Vivir Digital FIESTA is $114.99 with a 1DD + 3BA hybrid in its name. This Dunmer suits buyers who want a stated box list with tips and a pouch.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Specification list gives driver, sensitivity, impedance, frequency response, plug, interface, cable and cable length
- Detachable 0.78mm 2pin interface, so the cable can be replaced, per the page
- Box contents named: silicone tips, earphone pouch, cable and user manual
- 9.2mm dynamic driver with a graphene diaphragm and double magnetic circuit, per the page
Worth noting
- The field list claims active noise reduction for a wired set, and the page text gives no power source or noise-reduction figure
- In the page text, 105dB@1kHz is not tied to an input level such as mW or Vrms
- No weight or tip sizes appear in the page text
Questions before you buy
Does the Dunmer have active noise reduction?
The page's field list claims it, but the same list calls the set wired with no microphone, control button or volume control, and the page text gives no power source or noise-reduction figure. Treat that entry as unverified.
What comes in the package?
The page names the Dunmer in-ear monitor, silicone tips, an earphone pouch, a cable and a user manual.
What impedance does this Dunmer listing give?
16 ohm @1kHz, shown as 16Ω in the field list, and 105dB@1kHz. The page text gives no input level for the sensitivity.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The field list says Active Noise-Cancellation: Yes for a wired in-ear set, and the page text gives no power source, battery or noise-reduction figure. The other Dunmer listing gives a different impedance from this page's 16 ohm.
- The page text gives sensitivity as 105dB@1kHz with no mW or Vrms reference. The field list names uses such as gaming, sport and mobile phone without data.
- The sound claims, including the cable's effect on bass and mids, the patented structure and the brand's 2016 start, are the page's own statements; no proof or measurement appears in the text.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
