TOPPING TCT3 TRS to XLR Balanced Cable Review
Listed as a balanced copper cable with a 6.35mm TRS plug at one end and a 3-pin female XLR at the other, titled as a pair, from $69 in 25CM and 125CM options. The page text lists 6N single crystal copper wire and an 8MM OD, so it suits buyers who need that connector pairing.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who need a balanced cable with a 6.35mm TRS plug on one end and a 3-pin female XLR on the other and who want the wire construction spelled out in text. Look elsewhere if you need figures that agree with each other, since the resistance is printed two ways, or details from the page's pictures, which this review did not read. Every spec figure here is the store's own.
- Best for
- Buyers who need a 6.35mm TRS to 3-pin female XLR cable in a 25CM or 125CM option.
- Skip if
- You need a resistance figure that is stated once and with a unit, or details from the page's pictures.
Why 3.5/5: Lifted by a list of specification figures in the page text. Held back by a short page text whose claims sit in pictures that were not read, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and by every spec figure being the store's own with no independent test checked.
TOPPING's TCT3 is listed as a balanced copper cable with a 6.35mm TRS plug on one end and a 3-pin female XLR on the other, titled as a pair and priced from $69. The page text gives its inner core as 8 pieces of 0.16MM 6N single crystal copper silver-plated wire plus 180 pieces of 0.08MM 6N single crystal copper, with an OD of 8MM. The description is three pictures, so the spec figures here come from the text specification section only.

Options and pricing
The two options are named TCT3-25CM at $69 and TCT3-125CM at $99, both orderable when the page was read. The store title ends with (Pair). The page text gives no in-the-box list and does not say what the 25CM and 125CM figures measure.
How it compares
The TOPPING TCT2 3-Pin Male XLR to 6.35mm TRS cable costs $67.15 and carries the same wire-core line on its page, but its name puts a 3-pin male XLR where the TCT3 has the female one. The Fanmusic C006 XLR Balanced Female to Male cable starts at $69.99 against $69 here, and its name lists XLR female to male where the TCT3 name lists a 6.35mm TRS plug. The TCT3 suits a setup that needs a 6.35mm TRS plug at one end.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
Cables and adapters get three months of warranty from the order date, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs; a note on the same page also excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while the FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- The page text spells out the wire core: 8 pieces of 0.16MM silver-plated and 180 pieces of 0.08MM, all 6N single crystal copper
- Two options are named in the listing, TCT3-25CM at $69 and TCT3-125CM at $99
- The specification section gives an OD of 8MM and a square number of 0.533MM2x2/19AWGx2
- The store title states the connector pairing: 6.35mm TRS to 3-pin female XLR
Worth noting
- The conductor resistance is printed as 26.92/KM in one block and 26. 90/KM (spaced as printed) in another, and neither carries a unit symbol
- The description is three pictures that this review did not read, so any claim inside them is not covered
- The page text does not say what 25CM and 125CM measure and gives no in-the-box list
- The 98% copper shielding rate is the page's own statement, with no test condition given in the page text
- The conductor and shielding figures are the store's own; no independent test of this model was checked for this review
