Our verdict
A dedicated cover for R-Pod campers, sold in three sizes matched to specific RP model numbers from the RP-151 up through the RP-178, RP-181G, and RP-182G. The top panel is upgraded to 4-ply non-woven fabric with an anti-UV composite and waterproof membrane, while 110g non-woven sides guard against rain, snow, and scratches. It covers the trailer body only, is currently listed as out of stock, and ships only within the continental US.
- Best for
- R-Pod owners who want a cover matched to their specific RP floorplan rather than a generic trailer size.
- Skip if
- Your camper isn't an R-Pod, or you need delivery outside the 48 continental US.
Why 3.7/5: Lifted by fits keyed to named R-Pod models, a 4-ply anti-UV top with vents and zippered doors, and $135.99 to $145.99 pricing with no crossed-out price. Held back by conflicting layer counts (4-ply or triple-ply), no width, height or weight, and no stated warranty.
This R-Pod cover is priced at $135.99 and belongs to Leader Accessories' Xtra travel trailer cover line, but unlike the universal trailer covers it is sized around R-Pod campers -- small, rounded travel trailers -- and sold in three lengths, each matched to specific floorplans.
The materials are the same type used across the Xtra line: an upgraded 4-ply non-woven top panel mixed with an anti-UV composite and a waterproof membrane, with 110g non-woven fabric on the sides against rain, snow, and scratches. Adjustable front and rear tension panels and elasticized hem corners pull it snug, and a strap-and-buckle tension panel runs along the bottom. An air vent system reduces wind stress and vents moisture, and the listing notes the fit is designed to reduce premature aging of the trailer.
Installation is pitched as a one or two person job without tools: a weighted toss-bag under the cover takes the straps across to the far side, and rollable zippered doors let you get in and out without pulling the cover off. Sizing is the important part: Model 1 fits R-Pod trailers up to 13'7" (RP-151), Model 2 up to 16'2" (RP-171, RP-172, RP-176, RP-176T, RP-177), and Model 3 up to 17'7" (RP-178, RP-181G, RP-182G) -- trailer body only. The listing advises measuring the RV yourself, noting overall length includes the bumper but not the hitch, that a roof-mounted AC unit adds about a foot, and that a rear-mounted spare tire counts toward the measurement. The store's listing currently shows this cover as out of stock.
Shipping and returns: Leader Accessories ships only within the 48 continental United States (not Alaska, Hawaii, or international), free on orders of $70 or more and a flat $10 otherwise, with 1-2 business days of processing and 2-6 business days in transit. Returns run 30 days; defective, wrong, or incomplete items get a prepaid return label, while personal-reason returns are at the buyer's expense. Sale items and gift cards are not returnable, and exchanges are possible within 24 hours of ordering, before shipping.

How it compares
No other review in this type is keyed to a camper's model numbers; the other travel trailer covers sell by measured length range. For a trailer of roughly 14 to 18 feet, two of the generic alternatives are the 5-Ply Travel Trailer RV Cover, Gray, at $179.99 for 14'-16' and $229.99 for 16'-18', and the 210D Ripstop Travel Trailer RV Cover with Tire Covers, at $144.99 for 14'-16' and $154.99 for 16'-18'. The three R-Pod models cost $135.99 to $145.99. Lengths do not line up one for one, since the R-Pod sizes are body lengths and the generic sizes count the bumper.
The gray cover lists a 5-ply non-woven top; the 210D cover lists 210D polyester with a silver coating, and its box holds 4 tire covers, a repair patch, a tongue jack cover, a storage bag, a ladder cap and 6 gutter covers. This R-Pod page lists none of those items. Choose this cover for an R-Pod that matches one of the named RP numbers, where the fit list saves guessing; choose a generic cover if your trailer is another make or you want the extra items, and skip this one if you need a stated warranty.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Read on Oct 25, 2026 from the store's shipping policy, refund policy and terms of service. Leader Accessories is both the maker and the store, so there is no separate maker warranty page to check against.
- Where it ships: the 48 continental United States only. No PO boxes and no military addresses (APO, FPO). Confirm the address before ordering, because later changes may cost extra.
- Shipping fee: free on orders of $70 or more, otherwise $10. The policy adds that the store usually runs promotions that make shipping free on most items, without saying which.
- Timing: 1 to 2 business days to process, then 2 to 6 business days in transit, by USPS, UPS or another carrier, with tracking by email. Customized or monogrammed items take 4 or more working days to process. Report a shipping problem within 30 days of ordering.
- Return window: 30 days after you receive the item to request a return or exchange. Contact the store first for the return address; the item goes back in its original packaging and in a state that allows resale.
- Who pays return shipping: the store sends a pre-paid label once it accepts a return, which its policy ties to items that arrive defective, incorrect or incomplete (send the order number, photos and videos). For a return for personal reasons, return freight is at your expense. If the store ships the wrong item, it reimburses the return shipping fee when it receives the item back.
- Refunds: to the original payment method after the warehouse inspects the return; the policy says the credit can take up to 7 to 10 more business days. If the value of the products left on the order is under $30, a $10 shipping fee is deducted from the refund; the policy does not say whether that applies to a one-item order returned in full.
- Exchanges and cancellations: an exchange is possible only within 24 hours of ordering, before the package ships, and only if the item is in stock. An order that has been processed cannot be canceled.
- Not returnable: sale items and gift cards, custom or personalized products, perishables, personal care goods and hazardous materials. The policy does not define "sale items".
- Warranty: none stated. The shipping and refund policies do not mention one, the store's /pages/warranty address returned a 404 page on Oct 25, 2026, and section 13 of the terms of service provides products "as is", without warranties of durability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as the store expressly states.
- Prices and errors: the terms let the store change prices without notice and correct errors in descriptions, prices or shipping charges, including by canceling an order after it is placed.
- Contact: [email protected] is the only contact the policies give; the store's /pages/contact and FAQ addresses returned 404 pages.
Where the pages disagree
- Shipping speed: the product page banner says "Free Same-Day Shipping over $70". The shipping policy lists 1 to 2 business days of processing before the 2 to 6 day delivery window, and sets the free-shipping line at "greater or equal to $70".
- Exchanges: the banner says "30-Day Easy Return & Exchange". The refund policy gives 30 days to request a return but allows an exchange only within 24 hours of ordering and before shipment.
- Guarantee wording: the refund page is headed "30-Day Money-Back Guarantee", but the text under it covers defective, incorrect or incomplete items and says returns for personal reasons are at your expense.
For this product, the review's option (Model 1, up to 13 ft 7 in., at $135.99) is above the $70 free-shipping line, so the $10 fee does not apply; the page shows no crossed-out price for any model, so nothing marks it as a sale item; Model 1 was in stock on Oct 25, 2026 (the page showed a low-stock message, Only 3 in stock), and so were Models 2 and 3.
What we liked
- Model-specific fit lists the exact R-Pod camper each size covers, by RP number
- Upgraded 4-ply non-woven top panel with anti-UV composite and a waterproof membrane
- Adjustable front and rear tension panels plus elasticized hem corners for a snug fit
- Air vent system reduces wind stress and vents moisture inside the cover
- Rollable zippered doors for access, with a weighted toss-bag so one or two people can install it without tools
Worth noting
- Low stock: the store's page showed only 3 left of Model 1 on Oct 25, 2026
- Leader Accessories ships only within the 48 continental US (not Alaska, Hawaii, or international)
- It covers the trailer body only -- measure first, and add 1 foot of length if you have a roof-mounted AC unit
Questions before you buy
Which R-Pod models does each size fit?
Model 1: up to 13'7", RP-151. Model 2: up to 16'2", RP-171, RP-172, RP-176, RP-176T, RP-177. Model 3: up to 17'7", RP-178, RP-181G, RP-182G. All are trailer body only.
How is the cover installed without crawling underneath?
It uses a weighted toss-bag under the cover to carry the straps across, and tension panels with strap and buckle secure the bottom.
Does the fit include the tongue or bumper?
The listing says overall length includes the bumper but not the hitch, and to add about 1 foot if you have a roof-mounted AC unit.
Is this cover in stock?
On October 25, 2026 the store listed all three models as available, with only 3 left of Model 1. It showed the cover as out of stock when this review was written on October 14, 2026, so check stock before you order.

What we couldn’t verify
- The review, written Oct 14, 2026, reported the cover out of stock; on Oct 25, 2026 the page showed a low-stock message (Only 3 in stock) for Model 1 and the store data lists all three models as available.
- $135.99 is the Model 1 price (up to 13 ft 7 in., RP-151); Models 2 and 3, which cover RP-171 to RP-182G, cost $145.99, so the title's 'RP-151 to RP-182G' does not all sell at $135.99.
- The feature list says 'extra thick 4-ply non-woven' for the top, while a heading says 'Thick, triple-ply top and single-ply sides'; the page does not say which is right.
- Sizes are 'trailer body only' lengths keyed to RP numbers, but the measuring note counts the bumper and a rear spare tire, and the 210D silver cover's page warns against relying on model numbers; this page does not say which rule wins in a conflict.
- 'Anti-UV composite', 'waterproof membrane' and 'reduces premature aging' are page wording with no rating or test.
- The page gives no width, height, weight, color or warranty, and names only the RP models listed above.
