Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want a discrete R-2R DAC with balanced XLR and RCA outputs and are content to read the specifications from pictures, taking the DR80N if they want the network bridge. Look elsewhere if you need the page to settle which model its hero picture shows, or an outside measurement. The main caveat is that many of the pictures were not read for this review and no independent test was checked: every figure is the page's own.

Best for
Buyers who want a DAC that its pictures describe as discrete R-2R with XLR and RCA outputs, and a network bridge on the DR80N.

You need the page to say which model its pictures show, or an outside measurement of the figures.

Why 3.3/5: Kept down by a page with no written specification list, by claims that sit in pictures most of which were not read for this review, by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and by no independent test having been checked.

The Audalytic DR80 and DR80N are discrete R-2R DACs that HiFiGO titles Gustard Audalytic, with a GUSTARD logo on the rear panel in the pictures. The DR80 is listed at $699.99 and the DR80N, which per the pictures adds a network bridge, LAN and micro SD, at $779.99. Pictured specs give a USB input at native DSD64-DSD1024, balanced XLR and RCA outputs at 4Vrms and 2Vrms, and Bluetooth 5.1.

Options and pricing

Four options are listed: DR80 in black or silver at $699.99 and DR80N in black or silver at $779.99, all orderable when the page was read. Picture 16 shows the DR80 rear panel without micro SD or LAN and the DR80N with both, and picture 00 footnotes the DR80N as having a network bridge and the DR80 as having none. The page's banners also show an HP80 tube preamp stacked with the DR80n, but no HP80 option is listed.

How it compares

The TOPPING Centaurus Fully Balanced R2R DAC is also named R2R and costs $999, against $699.99 for the DR80 and $779.99 for the DR80N. The DAART Yulong DP1 Network / USB Digital Interface at $939 is named a digital interface rather than a DAC, so it suits a buyer who already has a DAC. The SMSL RAW-DAC1 AK4499ex+AK4191 Bluetooth 5.1 DAC at $499.99 is named for chips rather than R2R. The DR80 suits buyers who put discrete R-2R first; the DR80N suits those who also want the network bridge its pictures list.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • USB input listed at native DSD64-DSD1024 and PCM 44.1kHz-768kHz; IIS input at PCM 44.1kHz-1536kHz, per the pictured decoding table
  • Balanced XLR (4Vrms) and RCA (2Vrms) outputs, both with volume fixed, per the pictured spec table
  • Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC, AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX LL and aptX HD listed in the pictures

Worth noting

  • The network bridge, LAN and micro SD are on the DR80N only, which is listed at $779.99
  • Pictures 01, 05 and 15 are banners for an HP80 preamp stacked with the DR80n, a product that is not among the options listed

  • The dimensions row gives 300 x 230 x 58 with no axis labels

Questions before you buy

What does the DR80N add over the DR80?

Picture 00 footnotes the DR80N as having a network bridge and the DR80 as having none, and the rear-panel picture shows the DR80N with LAN and micro SD where the DR80 has neither. HiFiGO lists the DR80 at $699.99 and the DR80N at $779.99.

Which formats does the USB input list?

The pictured decoding table lists PCM 44.1kHz-768kHz at 16Bit-32Bit, native DSD64-DSD1024 and DoP DSD64-DSD512 for USB. The IIS row lists PCM 44.1kHz-1536kHz and native DSD64-DSD2048, and the coaxial and optical row lists PCM 44.1kHz-192kHz and DoP DSD64.

Which outputs does it have?

The pictures list balanced XLR at 4 Vrms and RCA at 2 Vrms, both with volume fixed and a 100Ω output impedance. A picture tile also lists simultaneous single-ended and balanced output.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • Pictures 01, 05 and 15 are banners for a second product, an HP80 tube preamp and headphone amp stacked with the DR80n; no HP80 specification was read and none is used here.
  • Picture 00 is headed DR80n and footnotes DR80n with a network bridge and DR80 without, while the title and options list both DR80 and DR80N; the title and options do not say which unit its pictures show.
  • Many pictures were not opened, including the measurement screenshots (pictures 23 to 28), so their figures are not used. The pictured claims that R-2R conversion is more direct, and its sound more natural, than delta-sigma are the page's own, and no independent test was checked for this review.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
