DUNU DK3001BD Hybrid IEMs Review
A hybrid IEM with one dynamic, four balanced armature and four micro planar drivers per the page, listed at $499.99 in a 2-pin 0.78mm or an MMCX version. It suits buyers who want the interchangeable 4.4mm and 3.5mm plugs its spec section lists.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a 1DD+4BA+4 micro planar hybrid with a choice of 2-pin or MMCX and the 4.4mm and 3.5mm plugs its spec section lists. Look elsewhere if you need the 2-pin option's cable described, a tuning description beyond the store's tags, or an independent test (none was checked for this review). The main caveat is that the spec section names an MMCX connector while one option is named 2-pin.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a 1DD+4BA+4 micro planar hybrid with a 2-pin or MMCX choice.
- Skip if
- You need a description of how the 2-pin option differs from the MMCX one.
Why 3.5/5: Lifted by a list of specification figures in the page text; held back by a short page text with most claims in pictures that were not read, by store terms that contradict each other, and by no independent test being checked for this review.
HiFiGO lists the DUNU DK3001BD at $499.99 in a 2-pin 0.78mm and an MMCX version. The title counts 1DD+4BA+4 micro planar drivers, and the spec section names one dynamic driver, two midrange and two high-frequency balanced armatures, and four micro planars. The page gives 26Ω, 5Hz-40kHz and a net weight of approx. 8.1 g per side, and names a 1.2 m ± 0.1 m Furukawa OCC copper cable.
Specifications

| Impedance | 26Ω |
| Sensitivity | 108dB/mW and 122dB/Vrms (@1kHz) |
| THD | Below 0.5% at 1kHz |
| Net weight | Approx. 8.1 g per side |
| Cable length | 1.2 m ± 0.1 m |
Options and pricing
Two options are listed at the same price: DK3001BD-2Pin 0.78mm and DK3001BD-MMCX, each $499.99 and orderable when the page was read. The spec section lists a Q-Lock MINI modular plug system with two interchangeable plugs, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended. Its connector line names only the Catch-Hold MMCX connector, so the page text does not say how the 2-pin option's cable differs.
How it compares
The Moondrop METEOR is $549.99 against $499.99 here, and its spec line gives a 1DD+2BA+4Planar tribrid architecture. The Softears EDGE is $499 with an 11mm labyrinth-structured dynamic driver in its spec line, and the Hidizs MS5 is $499 with a 4BA+1DD count in its name. Choose the DK3001BD for the 2-pin or MMCX choice and the pair of plugs its spec section lists, and one of the others if its driver mix matters more to you.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Driver counts are itemized by type: one dynamic, two midrange and two high-frequency balanced armatures, four micro planars
- Impedance (26Ω), sensitivity in two units, frequency response, THD and a net weight are all listed
- A choice of 2-pin 0.78mm or MMCX at the same price
- Two interchangeable plugs, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended, are listed for the Q-Lock MINI system
Worth noting
- The spec section names only a Catch-Hold MMCX connector while one option is named 2Pin 0.78mm, and the page text does not explain the difference
- Apart from the specification section the page text is one note about a third-party curve; the page text gives no tuning description or curve numbers
- The page text gives no output-power figure or source recommendation to go with the 26Ω figure
Questions before you buy
How many drivers does the DUNU DK3001BD have?
The title and spec section list one dynamic driver, four balanced armatures (two midrange, two high-frequency) and four micro planar drivers. The spec calls the dynamic driver a flexible surround bio-diaphragm unit for low and sub-bass frequencies.
Which connector and plugs does it use?
Two options are listed at $499.99: DK3001BD-2Pin 0.78mm and DK3001BD-MMCX. The spec section names a Catch-Hold MMCX connector and a Q-Lock MINI modular plug system with two interchangeable plugs, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended.
What impedance and sensitivity does the DK3001BD list?
The page gives 26Ω and a sensitivity of 108dB/mW and 122dB/Vrms, both at 1kHz. The page text names no power figure or source to pair with them.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The spec section names the Catch-Hold MMCX connector only, while one option is named DK3001BD-2Pin 0.78mm; the page text does not say how the two cables differ.
- The only description is a note that a third party measured the curve for reference; the page text names no tester and gives no curve numbers. The store's tags (Reference Tuning, Balanced Sound, U-Shaped Tuning, Hi-Res Sound) have no figures behind them in the page text.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
