DUNU DTC 100 Pro USB-C DAC/Amp Review
A DUNU USB Type-C portable DAC/amp with a CS43198 DAC chip, an SGM8262 amplifier chip and a single-ended 3.5mm output, listed at $38.90. The page gives 200mW at 32Ω and 235mW at 16Ω, so it suits buyers who want stated power figures for 3.5mm IEMs or headphones.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a low-priced USB-C DAC/amp with named chips, power figures at 16Ω and 32Ω and a 3.5mm single-ended output. Look elsewhere if you need a balanced output or a detachable cable. The figures are the page's own, with no THD+N conditions or power distortion limit in the page text, which is the main caveat.
- Best for
- Phone users with 3.5mm IEMs or headphones who want stated power at 16Ω and 32Ω.
- Skip if
- You want a balanced output or a detachable cable.
Why 3.5/5: Held back by the store's own terms contradicting each other and by no independent test of this model being checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
DUNU's DTC 100 Pro is a USB Type-C portable DAC/amp built on a CS43198 DAC chip and an SGM8262 amplifier chip, with a single-ended 3.5mm output, and the store lists it at $38.90. The spec section gives 200mW at 32Ω, 235mW at 16Ω, a 130dB(A-Weighted) SNR and 0.0004% THD+N, plus PCM up to 32-Bit/384kHz and Native DSD256. Per the page, a multi-colour LED shows whether PCM or DSD is playing.

Options and pricing
There is one option, DTC 100 Pro, at $38.90, and it could be ordered when the page was read. The Type-C connector cable is non-detachable per the page, and the page names one headphone output, a 3.5mm single-ended jack. The page text does not say what else comes in the box.
How it compares
Among the related models, the Moondrop Echo-A costs $21.99 and the MuseHiFi U3 $29.99, both below this unit's $38.90, while the Moondrop Dawn Pro 2 is $59.99 and names dual CS43198 chips where this title names one. The DTC 100 Pro suits a 3.5mm-only setup that wants a named chip and power given at two loads; the Dawn Pro 2 suits buyers who want two DAC chips.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Page names its chips: a CS43198 DAC and an SGM8262 amplifier
- Output power given at two loads: 200mW at 32Ω and 235mW at 16Ω
- Spec section lists SNR 130dB(A-Weighted), THD+N 0.0004% and a 20Hz~40kHz frequency response
- Lists PCM 32-Bit/384kHz and Native DSD256 decoding, plus a multi-colour LED that shows white for PCM and red for DSD
Worth noting
- Single-ended 3.5mm output only; the page text lists no balanced output
- The Type-C cable is non-detachable, so it cannot be swapped for another cable
- THD+N is given without conditions and SNR only as A-weighted; the page text attaches no distortion limit to the power figures
- The page describes the cable as copper in one place and silver-plated copper in another
- The page text gives no weight or dimensions
Questions before you buy
How much power does the DTC 100 Pro list?
The spec section gives 200mW at 32Ω and 235mW at 16Ω, and the feature list repeats up to 235mW at 16Ω. These are the page's own figures, and the page text attaches no distortion limit to them.
Which chips does it use?
The page lists a CS43198 DAC chipset and an SGM8262 amplification chipset.
Is the cable detachable?
No. The page says the Type-C connector cable is non-detachable and describes it as single-crystal copper; the text adds silver plating.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The feature list calls the cable high-purity single-crystal copper, while the text calls it single-crystal copper silver-plated; the model is written DTC 100 Pro in the title and DTC100 Pro in the text.
- The feature list includes 'Ear Shells' for a DAC/amp, which is wording usually used for earphones.
- THD+N of 0.0004% has no stated conditions and the 130dB SNR names only A-weighting, and sound claims such as 'clean and transparent' are the page's words.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
