ECCI YST-03 Triple Driver Hybrid IEMs Review
A hybrid in-ear monitor that the page describes as one 10mm dynamic driver plus two balanced armature drivers, listed at $99.90 with a 3.5mm plug. It suits buyers who want a stated Vrms sensitivity reference and a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a hybrid IEM with a 3.5mm plug, a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable and a sensitivity figure with a Vrms reference at $99.90. Look elsewhere if you need a balanced plug option or a page whose title and text agree on the driver type. The main caveat is the mismatch between a dynamic-only store title and a three-driver description, on top of tuning claims with no measurement in the page text.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a three-driver hybrid IEM with a 3.5mm plug and a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable.
- Skip if
- You want a balanced plug option or a listing whose title and text agree on the driver type.
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by the specification figures the page text provides. The store's own terms contradict each other, and every figure traces back to the store because no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
ECCI's YST-03 is listed at $99.90, and the page text describes a three-driver hybrid: one 10mm dynamic driver with a CCAW voice coil and silicone suspension, plus two customised high-frequency balanced armature drivers in a two-way frequency crossover. The page lists 25Ω±15%, 102dB/Vrms and 5Hz-40kHz, with a 3.5mm plug on a 0.78mm 2-pin cable.

Options and pricing
The only option, Default Title, is listed at $99.90 and was orderable when the page was read, and the page text shows no crossed-out price. The page names one termination, a 3.5mm plug, on a 5N single-crystal copper silver-plated cable with standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, so no balanced plug option is listed. Ear tips, a case, the cable length and other box contents are not named in the page text.
How it compares
The JUZEAR x Z Reviews SWOOP Series Defiant 1DD +3BA Hybrid IEMs are $94.99, and their name lists three balanced armatures against the two on the YST-03 at $99.90. The Sivga Que UTG is $94.90 with a single dynamic driver per its spec line, and the QoA Affinity is $99.99 with a 10mm dynamic driver per side. The YST-03 suits buyers who want a hybrid whose page gives a Vrms reference for sensitivity.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Hybrid layout of one 10mm dynamic driver and two high-frequency balanced armatures, per the page text
- Specification section gives impedance, sensitivity with a Vrms reference, distortion, frequency range, connector and plug
- The page lists standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, so the cable can be swapped
- The page says it needs little power and can be run from a smartphone
- PVD gold-plated panel mount and dyed abalone shell faces, per the page
Worth noting
- The store title and tag call it a dynamic monitor while the page text describes a three-driver hybrid
- Only a 3.5mm plug is listed; no balanced plug option
- The page text states no test conditions for the distortion figure (under 1%) and the 5Hz-40kHz range
- Cable length, weight, ear tips and a case are all missing from the page text
Questions before you buy
How many drivers does the YST-03 have?
The page text says three: one 10mm dynamic driver with a CCAW voice coil and silicone suspension, plus two customised high-frequency balanced armature drivers in a two-way crossover. The store title and tag mention only a dynamic driver.
Does it need an amplifier?
The page says it is easy to drive and can be powered fairly easily from smartphones, and it recommends a Hi-Res player for better decoding and amplification. It lists 25Ω±15% and 102dB/Vrms, and the page text gives no output power requirement.
Which cable and plug does it use?
A high-purity 5N single-crystal copper silver-plated cable with a 3.5mm termination plug on standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. The page says the cable can be swapped.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The store title and tag describe a dynamic in-ear monitor, while the description lists a triple driver hybrid with two balanced armatures and one 10mm dynamic driver.
- The title says High-Resolution, but the page text gives no certification or sample-rate figure and no test conditions for the 5Hz-40kHz range or the under 1% distortion.
- The tuning and sound-stage claims are the page's statements, and the text shows no measurement behind them.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
