Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want a Bluetooth 6.0 receiver with USB, coaxial and optical decoding, RCA and XLR outputs and PEQ in one unit, per the pictures. Look elsewhere if you need a DAC chip number, AUTO EQ over Bluetooth or figures from an independent test. The main caveats are the 192kHz/24bit cap with PEQ on and a block diagram that does not match the DSD footnote.

Why 3.3/5: Held back by a page whose specification list exists only as pictures, with most claims in them, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and by no independent test checked for this review.

Options and pricing

Six options are listed, all at $199.99 and all orderable when the page was read: BR15 R2R in Black or Silver, each with a US, EU or UK plug. A pictured in-the-box list includes the receiver, an infrared remote control, an AC power cord, a quick start guide and a red and white dual RCA cable. The pictures also say an external DC supply must provide 5V, at least 2A and a 5.5x2.1mm jack.

How it compares

The SMSL R100 R2R High-Resolution Audio DAC costs $289 against $199.99 here, and its name lists no Bluetooth. The AOSHIDA BLAD-S5 ES9038 Bluetooth/FM Audio Receiver Converter costs $99.99 and adds FM to Bluetooth in its name. The BR15 suits buyers who want Bluetooth 6.0 and an R2R DAC in one unit; the R100 suits those who want an R2R audio DAC at $289, and the BLAD-S5 those who want FM at $99.99.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Pictures give sample rates per input: USB 384kHz/32bit and DSD256, coaxial 192kHz/24bit and DSD64, optical 96kHz/24bit and DSD64
  • A pictured table lists RCA 2.2Vrms and XLR 4.4Vrms output levels, SNR of at least 119dB and THD+N under 0.015%
  • The pictures name its Bluetooth chip (QCC5181), USB chip (XMOS XU316) and main controller (ESP32-S3)
  • A pictured in-the-box list, dimensions (about 210x188x42mm) and weight (about 760g) are given
  • Bluetooth reception lists LC3, SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless and LDAC, per the pictured table

Worth noting

  • A pictured note caps the sampling rate at PCM 192kHz/24bit when PEQ is enabled, a lower ceiling than the USB figure of 384kHz/32bit
  • AUTO EQ is marked as unavailable in Bluetooth decoding mode
  • A block diagram sends PCM and DSD through NOS/OS (All to PCM), while a footnote says 1bit DSD native decoding is supported
  • The DAC is described as FiiO proprietary and no DAC chip number is given in the pictures read

Questions before you buy

Which inputs and outputs does the BR15 R2R list?

The pictures list USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth decoding, RCA and XLR line outputs, and coaxial and optical digital outputs. The RCA level is L+R=2.2Vrms+2.2Vrms and the XLR level L+R=4.4Vrms+4.4Vrms, both at 1kHz@10kΩ.

Which Bluetooth codecs does it list?

The pictured table lists Bluetooth 6.0 reception with LC3, SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless and LDAC, on a Qualcomm QCC5181 chip.

What sample rates does it handle?

Per the pictured table: USB 384kHz/32bit with DSD256; coaxial input 192kHz/24bit with DSD64; optical input 96kHz/24bit with DSD64; coaxial and optical outputs 192kHz/24bit with DSD64. A footnote says that with PEQ enabled the maximum is PCM 192kHz/24bit.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • A block diagram routes PCM and DSD through NOS/OS (All to PCM), while a footnote says the unit supports 1bit DSD native decoding and that the SAM: OS menu is bypassed in DSD mode.
  • The pictures claim a fully differential 24-bit R2R DAC with 192 resistors, a fully balanced signal path and Hi-Res logos; no measurement or certificate behind them was checked for this review. Nine of the 17 pictures were not read for this review.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
  • FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
