FiiO DP11 Desktop CD Player Review
A desktop CD player that HiFiGO lists at $169.99 in black or silver, both as 220V versions. Rear labels in the photos show RCA line out, coaxial, optical and AES outputs and a USB-C port. The store title names a CS43198 chip; no photo read for this review does. It suits buyers on 220V mains.

Our verdict
A match for buyers on 220V mains who want a desktop CD source with RCA, coaxial, optical and AES outputs at $169.99. Look elsewhere if you are in the Americas, where the page text says its operating voltage is not suitable, or if you want a stated DAC chip or output level: the photos read for this review carry only label and button text. The title and the rear label also disagree on whether it is a transport or a player. No independent test was checked for this review.
- Best for
- Buyers on 220V mains who want a desktop CD source with analog and digital outputs.
- Skip if
- You are in the Americas, where the page text says the operating voltage is not suitable, or want a stated DAC chip.
Why 3.3/5: Held back by a page with only a one-line note and photos in place of a specification list, by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and because no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
Listed by HiFiGO at $169.99 in Black and Silver, both as 220V versions, the FiiO DP11 is a desktop CD player with no specification list: the page carries a one-line note and seven product photos. What the photos show are rear-panel labels, port names and front button legends: an RCA line out pair, coaxial, optical and AES outputs, a USB-C port marked USB REC and a 12V 2A DC jack. The store title says CD Digital Transport and names CS43198; the photos read for this review name no chip.

Options and pricing
Two options are listed at $169.99 each and were orderable when the page was read: DP11 Black 220V and DP11 Silver 220V. The page text notes that this product's operating voltage is not suitable for use in the Americas, while a rear label in the photos reads Input AC 100-240V 50/60Hz 20W with a DC jack marked 12V 2A. No box list appears in the photos we read.
How it compares
The FiiO SNOWSKY DISC Portable HiFi Music Player is listed at $99.99 against $169.99 here and is named a portable music player, a different kind of source. The FiiO BR15 R2R High-Resolution Bluetooth 6.0 Audio Receiver is $199.99 and is named a Bluetooth audio receiver. Buyers who want a disc source on a desktop shelf look to the DP11; those who want a portable player or a Bluetooth receiver look to the others.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Rear labels in the photos show RCA line out, coaxial, optical and AES (XLR) outputs and a USB-C port
- The rear rating label is pictured: AC 100-240V 50/60Hz 20W, with a DC jack marked 12V 2A
- Black and silver finishes at the same $169.99
Worth noting
- The page carries a one-line note and photos: no specification list, DAC chip, output level or disc format is given in the text or photos we read
- The page text says the operating voltage is not suitable for use in the Americas, and both options are named 220V, though a rear label in the photos reads AC 100-240V
- The store title says CD Digital Transport and names CS43198, while the rear label says Desktop CD Digital Player and the photos show RCA analog outputs
Questions before you buy
Which outputs does the DP11 have?
The rear labels in the photos read LINE OUT (an L and R RCA pair), COAXIAL OUT (RCA), OPTICAL OUT, AES OUT (XLR) and USB REC (USB-C). The page text gives no output level or sample-rate figures.
Is it a transport or a player, and which chip does it use?
The store title says CD Digital Transport and names CS43198, while the rear label reads Desktop CD Digital Player and RCA line outputs are pictured. The photos read for this review name neither the CS43198 nor any other chip.
What voltage does it need?
Both options are named 220V and the page text says the operating voltage is not suitable for use in the Americas, yet a rear rating label in the photos reads AC 100-240V 50/60Hz 20W. The page is inconsistent on this, so the voltage is unverified.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- CONFLICT: the store title says CD Digital Transport and names CS43198; the rear label reads Desktop CD Digital Player, the photos show RCA LINE OUT analog outputs, and the photos read for this review do not name the CS43198 chip.
- Voltage: both options are named 220V and the page text says the operating voltage is not suitable for use in the Americas, but the rear label in the photos reads Input AC 100-240V 50/60Hz 20W.
- The photos read for this review carry no specification table, output level, disc format list or feature claim, so nothing about sound or disc support beyond the labels could be checked.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
