FiiO FT1 Pro Open-Back Headphones Review
An open-back headphone listed at $199.99 in black or blue. The page text gives a 95x86mm self-developed flat panel unit, 20Ω, 7Hz-40kHz and 95dB/mW@1kHz. It suits buyers who want a planar open-back and are content with a short spec list.

Our verdict
Suitable for buyers who want a planar open-back headphone and value a specification list given as page text, with 20Ω and two sensitivity figures stated. Look elsewhere if you need a package list, a stated plug supply or figures from an outside test. The caveat to weigh is that the description is four pictures that were not read here, and the figures are the store's own.
- Best for
- Buyers who want an open-back planar headphone with its figures given as page text.
- Skip if
- You need a package list, a confirmed plug supply or a figure from an outside test.
Why 3.5/5: Lifted by a list of specification figures in the page text; held back by a short page text with most claims in pictures not read, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and because no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
Open-back and planar by its title, the FiiO FT1 Pro is listed at $199.99 in black or blue. The page text is a short specification list: a 95x86mm self-developed flat panel unit, 20Ω, 95dB/mW@1kHz and 112dB/Vrms@1kHz, 7Hz-40kHz, approximately 374g excluding wire and a 4.5N±0.3N ear mask pressure line. The description itself is four pictures that were not read for this review.

Options and pricing
FT1 Pro-Black and FT1 Pro-Blue are the two colors listed, each at $199.99 and orderable when the page was read. The spec section gives the wire as oxygen free copper silver plated and approximately 1.5m long, and the audio plug as 3.5mm/4.4mm; the page text does not say whether both plugs are supplied.
How it compares
Against the FiiO FT1 Closed-Back 60mm Large Dynamic Driver Headphones at $159.99, named closed-back with a 60mm dynamic driver, the FT1 Pro is $199.99 and open-back with a flat panel unit. The SIVGA ANSER 50mm Dynamic Drivers Open-Back Wood Headphone is $219 and also open-back, with 50mm dynamic drivers in its name. The FT1 Pro suits buyers who want a planar open-back; the other two suit those who prefer a dynamic driver or a closed back.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- The page text gives a specification list: 7Hz-40kHz, 20Ω, 95dB/mW@1kHz and 112dB/Vrms@1kHz
- The audio plug line names both 3.5mm and 4.4mm, with a dual 3.5mm TRS earphone interface
- Approximate weight (374g excluding wire) and ear mask pressure (4.5N±0.3N) are stated
- The spec names a 95x86mm self-developed flat panel unit, and the title names a planar diaphragm driver
Worth noting
- The 374g figure sits on a line labelled Quantity rather than weight, and the type line reads Open Head Tablet Earphones
- The page text gives no package contents and does not say whether both a 3.5mm and a 4.4mm plug are supplied
- The description is four pictures that were not read for this review, so anything they say is not covered here
Questions before you buy
What impedance and sensitivity does the FT1 Pro list?
The page text lists 20Ω, 95dB/mW@1kHz and 112dB/Vrms@1kHz, and a frequency response range of 7Hz-40kHz. The page text gives no source power figure.
What driver does it use?
The spec section names a 95x86mm self-developed flat panel unit, and the title names a planar diaphragm driver in an open-back design. The page text does not name a diaphragm material.
What plugs and cable does it list?
The spec section lists a dual 3.5mm TRS earphone interface, a 3.5mm/4.4mm audio plug and an oxygen free copper silver plated wire of approximately 1.5m. It does not say whether both plugs come with the headphone.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The spec section prints the weight on a line labelled Quantity (approximately 374g excluding wire), gives the type as Open Head Tablet Earphones and does not say whether both 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs are supplied.
- The page's description is four pictures that were not read for this review, so any claims or figures in them are not covered; every figure here is the store's own.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
- All 4 description pictures on HiFiGO's page did not load when we checked on October 29, 2026 (their image host answered "not found"), so anything they showed is not covered here.
