HAKUGEI Black Warrior Earphone Cable Review
At $57.99 for 3.5mm or $59.99 for 2.5mm or 4.4mm, each with a 2 pin or MMCX connector, this HAKUGEI cable suits buyers who want a fixed plug and connector pairing. Its pictures give a 1.2meters length and a double-strand structure, and one tile says 5N where pictures 00, 02 and 07 say 6N.

Our verdict
Suits buyers who want a single plug size in a 2 pin or MMCX version at $57.99 or $59.99 and can work from picture-based details. Look elsewhere if you need one settled purity grade or a printed list of what the box holds. The main caveat is the 6N wording against the Litz 5N OCC silver tile, which the pictures do not reconcile.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a 2.5mm, 3.5mm or 4.4mm plug on a cable with a 2 pin or MMCX connector.
- Skip if
- You need one settled purity grade or a printed list of what the box holds.
Why 3.3/5: Held back by a page that gives no specification list as text, with figures sitting only in pictures that disagree on the purity grade. The store's own terms contradict each other, and no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
Black Warrior comes in six options in the store listing: a 3.5mm plug at $57.99 and a 2.5mm or 4.4mm plug at $59.99, each with a 2 pin or MMCX connector. The description is ten pictures with no text. They give 6N single crystal copper & silver plated 6NOCC in a double strand with 8 wires per wire and 30 cores each, a black nylon shielding net and a 1.2meters length, while one picture tile says Litz 5N OCC silver instead.

Options and pricing
Six options are listed and all were orderable when read: 3.5mm-2 pin and 3.5mm-MMCX at $57.99, and 2.5mm and 4.4mm with 2 pin or MMCX at $59.99. The option group is labelled Color, but the names carry only a plug size and a connector. Picture 05 prints Plug: 3.5/2.5/4.4, and the pictures do not say whether those plug sizes and the pin list are options or all included. How it compares
The HAKUGEI Golden Rope 5N OCC Litz & Gold & Silver Plated Copper Earphone Cable starts at $50.99 against $57.99 here, and its store title names 5N OCC Litz & Gold & Silver Plated Copper. The HAKUGEI Dragon Princess / Ziyan Litz Silver-plated 7N Single Crystal Copper Upgraded Headphone Cable is $66.99 and its store title names 7N Single Crystal Copper. By starting price the three run $50.99, $57.99 and $66.99, so the Black Warrior suits buyers who want a single plug size with a 2 pin or MMCX connector at a price between the other two.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
Cables and adapters get three months of warranty from the order date, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs; a note on the same page also excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while the FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Priced at $57.99 for 3.5mm and $59.99 for 2.5mm or 4.4mm, each with 2 pin or MMCX

- Pictures 02 and 07 give the same structure: double strand, 8 wires per wire, 30 cores each
- Pictures 04 and 07 both give a 1.2meters length
Worth noting
- A tile in picture 01 says Litz 5N OCC silver, while pictures 00, 02 and 07 and the store title say 6N OCC copper and silver plated 6N OCC
- The pictures read do not say whether the plug sizes 3.5/2.5/4.4 and the listed pin ends are options or all included
- The pictures read give no text list of what the box holds; picture 09 is a photo showing a grey zip case
- No text specification list: the spec figures sit in pictures, and three of the ten pictures were not opened at full size for this review
