Our verdict
A single pear-shaped diamond in a bezel setting for a buyer who wants a choice of natural or lab-grown stone at a modest weight of .33ct or .50ct, with grades stated. Look elsewhere if you want weights beyond .50ct, a named grading report or stone dimensions. The main caveat is the spread in price: the listing runs from $925 to $2,895, so confirm the stone type, weight and gold color before ordering.
- Best for
- Someone who wants one pear-shaped diamond in a bezel setting and a choice between natural and lab-grown stones.
- Skip if
- You want a weight above .50ct on the page, a named grading report or listed stone dimensions.
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by stated diamond color and clarity; held back by the store's no-returns, no-refunds policy (a damaged or defective item gets an exchange or repair).
A pear-shaped diamond sits in a bezel setting on this necklace and hangs from an adjustable 16-18" chain. Prices begin at $925 and the 12 variants reach $2,895, combining an average weight of .33ct or .50ct, a natural or lab-grown stone and three 14kt golds: yellow, white and rose. The listing gives grades for both stone types and says the necklace is handmade.

Options and pricing
The 12 variants come from three options: average carat weight of .33 or .50, diamond type of natural or lab-grown, and 14kt yellow, white or rose gold. By weight, .33 runs $925-$1,795 and .50 runs $1,125-$2,895. By type, lab-grown is $925-$1,295 and natural is $1,795-$2,895. The chain is described as adjustable from 16 to 18", so length is not a variant to select. The listing also invites buyers to chat with the store about a larger custom diamond.
How it compares
The Diamond Bezel Necklace follows the same bezel idea but starts lower, at $795, with five average weights from .25ct to 1.00ct in rose, white or yellow gold. The Emerald Diamond Bezel Necklace starts at $995 with a single average weight of .50 ct, in the same three golds. This pear starts at $925 and offers two weights.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping: the Shipping & Returns page says US orders over $100 ship free and that fine jewelry, diamonds and engagement rings are handcrafted to order and usually fulfilled within 1 to 4 weeks, sent by UPS 2-day shipping with an adult signature required. The FAQ gives other figures, an estimated 4 to 6 weeks for custom rings and generally 6 to 8 weeks of production from payment, and says the checkout page shows an estimate, so confirm the date there. Fine jewelry ships only within the United States according to the FAQ; international orders are limited to the Demi-Fine Collection. This product page says: "This Necklace is handmade, so please allow 2-3 weeks for it to be made." Returns: the Shipping & Returns page says the store cannot accept returns on these limited, handmade or made-to-order items; if an item arrives damaged or defective, contact the store within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or repair of the same item, which must be in its original packaging with no sign of wear. The FAQ says all fine jewelry sales are final and that returns, refunds and exchanges are not accepted, with a repair offered for faulty items, and the sales terms add that sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. The refund policy page grants a 14-day cooling-off right to orders shipped into the European Union. This product page also says: "No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on fine jewelry orders." Warranty: the FAQ says the store guarantees its fine jewelry against manufacturing defects at the time of delivery for life and repairs a confirmed defect at no cost, while damage from wear and tear or trauma is quoted before any work. Excluded examples include scratching, loss of center stones, product loss or theft, discoloration from chemicals or make-up and prongs that wear down over time. Discount code: the sales terms say codes must be entered at checkout, only one code can be used per order and promotions exclude gift cards and custom orders unless stated otherwise; some products can also be excluded, so check that the FACESTORE code takes 10% off this item before you pay.
Before you buy
Lola Ade says it is a Black woman-owned fine jewelry brand based in Los Angeles that sells online only, founded by Pamela Adewoyin James, whom its About page calls a GIA-certified diamond professional and practicing attorney. The page says she has handcrafted jewelry since 2010 and launched an engagement ring collection in 2024. A July 2026 SHEEN Magazine interview tells a similar story, but it is a profile, not a product test, and searches on 20 October 2026 found no Trustpilot, BBB or Reddit page for the store. The store's own reviews page shows 40 reviews, 38 of them five-star and 2 four-star; that widget is the store's display and was not verified. Its giving program ("a portion of every fine jewelry purchase" supports clean water access in Africa, and a portion of each engagement ring sale per its community page) names no amount. The FAQ says the store's diamonds come from suppliers that follow strict ethical standards, are conflict-free and comply with the Kimberley Process; it publishes no supplier list. There is no showroom, so you cannot see a piece in person, and the pages disagree on production time and on whether a damaged item gets an exchange or only a repair; ask for the estimate and the remedy in writing before you order.
What we liked
- Both stone types come with stated grades, H/I, SI for natural and F, VS for lab-grown, so the two can be compared on the page.
- Three gold colors (14kt yellow, white and rose) are offered, and prices are shown by weight and by stone type.
- The shape (pear), the setting (bezel) and the chain (adjustable, 16-18") are all named on the listing.
- Lab-grown versions start at $925, while natural versions start at $1,795.
- The listing offers to custom make a larger diamond.
Worth noting
- Price depends on stone type and weight, from $925 to $2,895, so the from-price is only the lowest of 12 variants.
- Only average carat weights are given (.33ct or .50ct); no stone dimensions or clasp type are listed.
- No grading report or laboratory is named for the diamonds.
- The listing asks buyers to allow 2-3 weeks, since the necklace is handmade.
Questions before you buy
Is the diamond natural or lab-grown?
Either one. Diamond type is an option: natural diamonds are listed as H/I, SI and priced $1,795-$2,895, and lab-grown diamonds are F, VS and priced $925-$1,295. The listing names no grading report for either.
Which weights and metals can be chosen?
Average carat weight is .33ct or .50ct, and the metal is 14kt yellow, white or rose gold. By weight the listed prices are $925-$1,795 at .33 and $1,125-$2,895 at .50.
How is the diamond held, and what is the chain?
The listing says the pear-shaped diamond sits in a bezel setting on an adjustable 16-18" chain. It does not give the clasp type or chain width.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
No. The Shipping & Returns page says the store cannot accept returns on its handmade, limited or made-to-order items, and the FAQ says all fine jewelry sales are final with no returns, refunds or exchanges. If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact the store within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or repair.
How long does a made-to-order piece take?
The pages differ. Shipping & Returns says fine jewelry is usually fulfilled within 1 to 4 weeks; the FAQ says an estimated 4 to 6 weeks for custom rings and generally 6 to 8 weeks of production from payment, with an estimate on the checkout page. Ask the store for a date in writing.
Is financing available?
The FAQ says financing is available through Shop Pay and tells buyers to contact Shop Pay for details; it lists no terms or rates, so check them at checkout.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
GIA says laboratory-grown diamonds have the same crystal structure as natural diamonds, tightly bonded carbon atoms, and nearly the same chemical, optical and physical properties. By eye the difference can be indistinguishable, but gemological laboratories can detect the different growth history with advanced instruments. They are grown by high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) or chemical vapor deposition (CVD).

What we couldn’t verify
- The listing's claim of ethical, conflict-free sourcing has no supplier or audit behind it on the page, so we could not check it.
- Only average carat weights are given, so the exact weight and the dimensions of the pear shape are not stated.
- No grading laboratory or report is named for the natural or the lab-grown diamonds.
- Independent testing of this piece: none found; the only outside coverage located is an interview-style profile of the founder (SHEEN Magazine, July 2026).
- The store's pages disagree on production time (1 to 4 weeks, 4 to 6 weeks, 6 to 8 weeks) and on exchange versus repair for a damaged item.
- The store's 40-review widget and its clean-water giving claim are its own statements and were not verified.
- Whether the FACESTORE code applies to this item was not tested; the sales terms exclude custom orders and some products.
