Luxury & Precision P6 Pro R2R Player Review
A portable player with a discrete R-2R array DAC that the page equates to 16 PCM1704K chips and a stated 125dB signal-to-noise ratio, listed at $3,899 in Black or Gray. It appeals to buyers drawn to R-2R design; the page has no spec list as text.

Our verdict
Meant for buyers set on a discrete R-2R player with a stated 125dB signal-to-noise ratio and a non-Android operating system at $3,899. Look elsewhere if you need storage, battery, ports, weight or sample rates in text, or figures checked outside the store. Without a specification list as text, those figures are missing from the page text.
- Best for
- Buyers set on a discrete R-2R player with a non-Android operating system.
- Skip if
- You need storage, battery, ports or sample rates stated in the page text.
Why 3.4/5: Held back by the lack of a specification list as text, by the store's contradictory terms, and by figures that have no independent test checked for this review behind them.
Described by the page as a successor to the P6, the L&P P6 Pro is a portable player with a discrete R-2R array DAC that the page equates to 16 PCM1704K chips, listed at $3,899 in Black or Gray. The page lists an overall signal-to-noise ratio of 125dB, a newly designed touch screen, a minimalist non-Android operating system and an improved Bluetooth module, but no specification list as text.

Options and pricing
Two colors are listed, P6 Pro-Black and P6 Pro-Gray, each priced at $3,899 and each marked orderable. The page text describes no difference between them and names no box contents, cables or accessory options, so the page leaves the price as covering the player alone.
How it compares
The L&P P6 is $2,999.99 against $3,899 here, and its spec line gives 2 PCM1704K chips and SNR 118dB; this page lists 16 chips and 125dB and calls its DAC double that of the P6. The Oriolus DPS-L2 is $2,199; its spec line names 32-Bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256 limits, which the P6 Pro text does not. The FiiO M27 is the cheapest of the three at $1,899, with dual ES9039SPro chips. The P6 Pro suits buyers set on this R-2R line; the others cost less.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Discrete R-2R array DAC that the page equates to 16 PCM1704K chips
- An overall signal-to-noise ratio of 125dB is stated
- Two colors, Black and Gray, at one price
- Touch screen and a proprietary non-Android operating system, which the page says runs at very low CPU load
- Lossless Matrix Volume Control System (LLMVS) and an FPGA clock are named
Worth noting
- Nothing in specification-list form: storage, battery, ports, weight, screen size and sample rates are all absent from the text
- No output power, impedance or Bluetooth codec in the page text
- The chip count is written PCM 1704 in the feature list and PCM1704K in the text, and the DAC is called both 'almost double' and 'double' the P6's
Questions before you buy
How many PCM1704K chips does the P6 Pro equal?
The page says the DAC is equivalent to 16 PCM1704K chips in parallel, and that this equals two P6 circuit boards in parallel at the same output voltage for in-ear monitors. The feature list writes the chip as PCM 1704.
What operating system does it run?
The page describes a proprietary minimalist non-Android operating system that runs at very low CPU load to limit interference with the analog circuits.
What does the page say about Bluetooth?
An improved module with a protocol stack, a more accurate FPGA clock and a better audio algorithm. The page text names no Bluetooth version or codecs.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The page text gives no specification list as text: no storage, battery, ports, output power, weight, screen size or sample rates.
- The chip count is written 16 PCM 1704 and 16 PCM1704K, the DAC is called 'almost double' and 'double' the P6's, and the page text gives no test conditions for the 125dB SNR.
- The page claims the SNR meets or exceeds most sigma-delta players and says there is no noticeable noise floor; the page text gives no measurement.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
