Our verdict

Right for buyers who want a discrete R2R player with a parts list on the page, 64GB storage and micro SD support at $2,999.99. Look elsewhere if you need output ports, output power, Bluetooth codecs or battery life in text. The page mixes 2, 4 and 8 PCM1704K-equivalent versions without its text saying which one this is, and that is the main caveat.

Why 3.6/5: A specification list with figures lifts it; the store's own terms that contradict each other, and every figure being the store's own, with no independent test checked for this review, hold it back.

The P6 from L&P is a portable player whose DAC is a fully discrete 24 Bit R2R resistor network, which the page equates to 8 PCM1704K chips in parallel; it is listed at $2,999.99. The spec section gives a 3.5-inch IPS screen at 480x320, an aluminum body with a glass rear cover, 64GB of ECC flash and support for a 512GB micro SD card. The page's opening lines also describe 2-chip and 4-chip versions.

Options and pricing

A single option, Default Title, is priced at $2,999.99 and the page marks it orderable. The title says 64GB, and the spec section gives 64GB 24 Bit ECC FLASH with support for a 512GB micro SD card (TF). The page text names no colors, cables or box contents.

How it compares

The L&P P6 Pro is $3,899 against $2,999.99 here and carries the same Discrete R2R wording in its name. The Oriolus DPS-L2, at $2,199, lists decoding limits of 32-Bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256 that this P6 page text leaves out. For $1,899 the FiiO M27 lists a pair of ES9039SPro DAC chips. The P6 suits buyers who want a discrete R2R design with a parts list; the DPS-L2 and the M27 cost less.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Spec section gives size, weight (248g), screen, storage and a parts list
  • 64GB onboard storage and support for a 512GB micro SD card, per the spec section
  • Fully discrete 24 Bit R2R DAC, with the page citing an equivalent of 8 PCM1704K chips
  • Low phase noise -160dB active crystal oscillator and ALPS buttons listed
  • Aluminum body with a glass rear cover

Worth noting

  • No output ports, plugs, output power or impedance in the page text
  • The page describes 2-, 4- and 8-chip versions with three SNR figures, and its text does not say which one this listing is
  • The page text names no Bluetooth codecs, battery capacity or battery life, and no PCM or DSD rates

Questions before you buy

How many PCM1704K chips does the P6 equal on the page?

The opening lines describe versions equal to 2, 4 and 8 PCM1704K chips with SNR of 118dB, 120dB and 123dB, and later text says 8 chips and SNR higher than 123dB. The page text does not say which version this listing is.

How much storage does it have?

The spec section lists 64GB 24 Bit ECC FLASH and support for an extended capacity of 512GB micro SD card (TF).

What are its size and weight?

The spec section gives 124x67.3x20mm and 248g, with a 3.5-inch IPS screen at 480x320.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • The page describes an original (2 PCM1704K, SNR 118dB), a modified (4, 120dB) and an all-new version (8, 123dB) and its text never says which this listing is; later text says 8 chips and SNR higher than 123dB.
  • The page text names no output ports, output power, battery life, Bluetooth codecs or PCM and DSD rates; 'the thrust is great' has no figure behind it in the text.
  • Sound claims such as 'fresh and natural, delicate and mellow' and '0 background noise' are the page's own words.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
