Moondrop Aria 2 IEMs Review
A single dynamic driver IEM listed at $99.99 in Vibrant Red or Starlight Blue. It suits listeners who want the cable the page describes with swappable 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs, and a specification section that gives 33Ω±15%, 122dB/Vrms and 16Hz-22kHz.

Our verdict
Suited to listeners who want a single-dynamic-driver IEM at $99.99 with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs, which the page lists as included, and a specification section that gives impedance, sensitivity and distortion figures. Look elsewhere if you want a stated driver size, a distortion figure with test conditions, or figures checked by someone other than the store. The main caveat is that the tuning and driver-structure claims, including the patent, are the page's own.
- Best for
- Listeners who want a single dynamic driver IEM with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs the page lists as included.
- Skip if
- You need a stated driver diameter or figures checked by someone other than the store.
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by the list of specification figures in the page text. Held back by the store's own terms that contradict each other and because no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
Moondrop's Aria 2 is a single dynamic driver IEM that the page calls an upgrade to the classic Moondrop Aria, listed at $99.99 in two colors. The driver has a TiN ceramic-coated dome composite diaphragm, per the page, and the specification section gives 33Ω±15%, 122dB/Vrms and a 16Hz-22kHz frequency response. Per the page, the cable has swappable termination plugs and 0.78mm 2-pin connectors.

Options and pricing
Two options are listed at $99.99 each, Aria 2-Vibrant Red and Aria 2-Starlight Blue, and both were orderable when the page was read. The page describes the Vibrant Red finish as made with an electrophoresis process and the page text says nothing further about Starlight Blue. It also says 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs for the cable's swappable termination system are included in the package, and the page text gives no ear tip list, case or other contents.
How it compares
The Moondrop Rays 1DD+1 Planar Drivers Gaming IEMs are also $99.99 and pair one dynamic with one planar driver, while the Aria 2 uses a single dynamic driver. The QoA Affinity 10mm PEN Titanium Plated Diaphragm Dynamic Driver In Ear Monitor is $99.99 with a 10mm dynamic driver per side, and the JUZEAR x Z Reviews SWOOP Series Defiant 1DD +3BA Hybrid IEMs are $94.99 as a 3BA+1DD hybrid. The Aria 2 suits listeners who want one dynamic driver with both plug sizes; the Rays and the Defiant suit those who want a planar or armature driver.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Specification section lists 33Ω±15%, 122dB/Vrms, 16Hz-22kHz and THD+N of ≤0.05%
- Swappable termination plugs, with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs in the package, per the page
- Brass nozzle with replaceable filters, reached by unscrewing the nozzle, per the page
- Two colors at the same $99.99
Worth noting
- The page lists a 16Hz-22kHz frequency response and a separate 20Hz-20kHz effective range; the page text does not define the effective range
- The page text gives no test frequency or level for the THD+N figure of ≤0.05%
- The page text gives no driver diameter, weight or cable length
- Only the Vibrant Red finish is described in the page text; Starlight Blue appears only as an option name

What we couldn’t verify
- The page lists a 16Hz-22kHz frequency response, a 20Hz-20kHz effective range and THD+N of ≤0.05%; the page text gives no test frequency or level for the distortion figure.
- The page calls the driver structure patented and the tuning professional, and says it aims for accurate sound with low distortion; the page text gives no patent number and no figures behind the sound claims, and notes that a curve is measured by a third party, for reference only.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
