Moondrop Edge Wireless Headphones Review
A wireless headphone listed at $89.99 in grey, white or green. Its pictures give Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC, AAC and LDAC, a USB-C port, up to 48 hours of playback with ANC off and five built-in tunings in an app. It suits buyers who want LDAC and app-selected tunings.

Our verdict
Works for buyers who want a wireless headphone with LDAC, Bluetooth 5.4 and app-selected tunings, going by what the pictures give. Anyone who needs a confirmed driver size, impedance or weight, or an outside measurement, should look elsewhere. The page's main limit is that eight of its 15 pictures could not be read and that the working distance is stated two ways.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a wireless headphone with LDAC and five app-selected tunings at $89.99.
- Skip if
- You need a confirmed driver size, impedance or weight, or a figure from an outside test.
Why 3.3/5: Held back by a page whose text carries no specification list, with its claims in 15 pictures of which only seven were available to read, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and by no independent test being checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
Listed at $89.99 in grey, white or green, the Moondrop Edge is a wireless headphone. Its description is 15 pictures rather than text, and the seven that could be read give Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC, AAC and LDAC, a USB-C port, up to 48 hours of playback with ANC off and five built-in tunings in the MOONDROP APP. The store's title names a 40mm dynamic driver, which none of those pictures confirms.

Options and pricing
Edge-Grey, Edge-White and Edge-Green are the three colors listed, each at $89.99 and orderable when the page was read. The pictured packaging list names the headphones, a storage bag, a charging cable, a user manual, a certificate and two cards. The pictures describe oblique ear pads with inert memory foam cushioning and a folding hinge.
How it compares
The Edge pictures read give no driver size, impedance or weight, so the driver comparison below rests on store titles. The FiiO EH13 40mm Dynamic Driver Over-Ear Headphones cost $49.99 and name a 40mm dynamic driver in an over-ear design, against $89.99 here. The FiiO FT1 Closed-Back 60mm Large Dynamic Driver Headphones cost $159.99 and name a closed-back design with a 60mm driver. The Edge suits buyers who want LDAC and app tunings; the FT1 suits those who want a closed back.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- The pictures give Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC, AAC and LDAC and A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP profiles
- The 48-hour figure comes with its condition (AAC, ANC and transparent mode off); a picture adds four hours of music after 5 mins of charging
- A picture gives five built-in tunings chosen in the MOONDROP APP, and a footnote says the function only simulates the timbre of classic headphones
- A folding hinge with an aluminum alloy hinged-shaft headband assembly and memory foam ear pads are described in the pictures
- Three colors at one price: grey, white and green
Worth noting
- None of the seven pictures read states a driver type or size, impedance, weight, ANC depth or frequency range, and the store title's 40mm dynamic driver is not confirmed
- Working distance is given two ways: over 10m unobstructed in the product information and more than 50 meters or up to 50 meters in the antenna picture
- Eight of the page's 15 pictures could not be read for this review
Questions before you buy
What Bluetooth features does it list?
The pictured product information gives Bluetooth 5.4, SBC, AAC and LDAC codecs, A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP profiles, a USB-C charging port and a working distance of over 10m in an unobstructed open environment. The antenna picture says more than 50 meters and up to 50 meters, which does not match.
What battery life does it list?
A picture says up to 48 hours of continuous music playback, measured under an AAC connection with ANC and transparent mode off and varying with music content, and four hours of music after only 5 mins of charging, with data credited to the MOONDROP R&D laboratory. The product information gives about 1.5 Hour of charging time.
What are the five tunings?
A picture says the headphone has five built-in tunings: a default plus tunings that simulate the tuning styles of some classic headphones, chosen in the MOONDROP APP. A footnote says the function only simulates timbre and cannot be completely consistent because of hardware differences.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The store's title says 40mm Dynamic Driver, but none of the seven pictures read states a driver type or size, impedance, weight, ANC depth or frequency range.
- Working distance reads over 10m (unobstructed open environment) in the product information but more than 50 meters and up to 50 meters in the antenna picture; the 48-hour and 50-meter figures are credited to the MOONDROP R&D laboratory.

- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- 8 of the 15 description pictures on HiFiGO's page did not load when we checked on October 29, 2026 (their image host answered "not found"), so anything they showed is not covered here.
