Moondrop Solis II Tribrid IEMs Review
A tribrid in-ear monitor from Moondrop with eight drivers per side (two 10mm dynamic, two balanced armature, four electrostatic), listed at $2,999. It suits buyers who want the 3.5mm, 2.5mm and 4.4mm plugs the page lists and a shell the page says is 925 silver.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want an eight-driver tribrid with the three plugs the page says are in the package and a spec list in the page text, at $2,999. Look elsewhere if you need the two frequency ranges explained, THD+N conditions or an independent test. The main caveat: the figures and the third-party curve note are all the store's page text, and no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
- Best for
- Buyers who want an eight-driver tribrid with 3.5mm, 2.5mm and 4.4mm plugs per the page and a spec list in the page text.
- Skip if
- You need the 7Hz-40kHz and 20Hz-20kHz ranges explained or an independent test (none was checked for this review).
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by a page text that gives a list of specification figures; held back by the store's own terms, which contradict each other, and by no independent test of this model having been checked for this review.
HiFiGO lists the Moondrop Solis II, also written Solis 2, at $2,999 as a tribrid in-ear monitor with eight drivers on each side: two 10mm dynamic drivers, two balanced armatures and four Sonion electrostatic drivers behind a three-way crossover. The page gives 10Ω±15%, 121dB/Vrms and two frequency ranges, and it describes the shells as 925 silver.

Options and pricing
A single option, Default Title, is listed at $2,999 and was orderable when the page was read. The page says the Pure6 copper cable has a modular termination plug system with 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs in the package, and it lists 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. The page text gives no list of eartips or a case.
How it compares
The QDC Anole V14 is also $2,999 and its spec line gives a 14-driver hybrid configuration on both sides, against eight per side here. The Unique Melody MEST Fortune is $2,699 with a 10-driver spec line that does not say per side, and the Elysian ANNIHILATOR 2026 is $3,299 as a 7-driver tribrid. Buyers who want four EST drivers in an eight-driver tribrid look at the Solis II; those watching the budget start with the MEST Fortune.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Page lists eight drivers per side: 2 dynamic (10mm each), 2 balanced armature and 4 electrostatic
- Specification list covers impedance (10Ω±15%), sensitivity (121dB/Vrms), THD+N (≤0.5%) and two frequency ranges
- Cable is listed with 3.5mm, 2.5mm and 4.4mm plugs in the package, which the page calls a modular termination system
- A note on the page says its curve is measured by a third party and is for reference only
- Shells are described as high-purity 925 silver with a 24K gold-plated and silver-plated logo
Worth noting
- Two frequency ranges are given, 7Hz-40kHz and 20Hz-20kHz (Effect Frequency Response), and the page text does not explain the difference
- THD+N is quoted as ≤0.5% with no test conditions in the page text
- The page text gives no weight figure for the silver shells and no length for the Pure6 cable
Questions before you buy
Which plugs does the Solis II come with?
The page says the Pure6 copper cable has a modular termination plug system and that 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs are in the package. The spec list writes the termination as 3.5mm+2.5mm+4.4mm.
Why does the page list two frequency ranges?
The spec section gives Frequency Response as 7Hz-40kHz and Effect Frequency Response as 20Hz-20kHz. The page text does not explain how the two differ.
What drivers are in each earphone?
The page lists eight per side: two 10mm dynamic drivers, two balanced armature drivers and four Sonion EST drivers, arranged in a three-way crossover.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- Two frequency ranges are given, 7Hz-40kHz and 20Hz-20kHz (Effect Frequency Response), and the page text does not say how they differ; THD+N of ≤0.5% has no stated test conditions.
- The note that the curve is measured by a third party and is for reference only does not name the party or the method in the page text. The tone and driver-role claims (natural timbre, a strong lower end, treble extension from the EST drivers) are the page's own wording.
- The Features list says Handcrafted Pure Silver Cavities while the body text says high-purity 925 silver; the page text gives no purity test or weight for the shells.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
