QDC Anole V14 14-Driver IEMs Review
A 14-driver hybrid in-ear monitor from QDC, listed at $2,999, with 10 balanced armature and 4 electrostatic drivers per side and four tuning switches on each earpiece. It suits buyers who want the swappable 2.5mm, 4.4mm and 3.5mm termination plugs the page lists.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a 14-driver hybrid with tuning switches and, per the page, three termination plugs at $2,999. Look elsewhere if you need a stated connector type, impedance and sensitivity for a given switch setting, or an independent test. The main caveat: the specification lines and the third-party curve note both come from HiFiGO's page, and no independent test was checked against them for this review.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a 14-driver hybrid with four tuning switches per earpiece and the 2.5mm, 4.4mm or 3.5mm termination plugs the page lists.
- Skip if
- You need a stated connector type, or impedance and sensitivity figures for each switch setting.
Why 3.5/5: Held back because the store's own terms contradict each other and because no independent test was checked for this review: every figure, such as the 12-20Ω range and the 26dB noise reduction, is the store's own.
QDC's Anole V14 is priced at $2,999 on HiFiGO and, per the page, puts ten balanced armature drivers and four electrostatic drivers in each earpiece, with four tuning switches on each. The page lists 12-20Ω impedance, 105-108dB/mW sensitivity, a 10Hz-50kHz range and 26dB of noise reduction, and a cable with swappable termination plugs.

Options and pricing
Default Title is the only option, priced at $2,999 and orderable when the page was read. The page says the 12-core cable has swappable termination plugs and lists 2.5mm balanced, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended plugs as included. It also describes a 3D fluorescent face panel that changes color after absorbing light. The page text names no case or eartips.
How it compares
The QDC Anole VX is listed at $2,499 with a 10 BA driver configuration in its spec line, while the V14 lists 10 BA plus 4 EST at $2,999. The Moondrop Solis II costs the same $2,999 and is named 2DD + 2BA + 4EST. The Unique Melody MEST Fortune is $2,699 with a 10-driver spec line that does not say per side. Buyers who want tuning switches and a 14-driver count look at the V14; buyers watching the budget start with the VX or the MEST Fortune.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Page lists 14 drivers per side: 10 balanced armature and 4 EST
- Four tuning switches on each earpiece; the page says they give 16 tuning options
- Termination plugs listed as included (2.5mm balanced, 4.4mm balanced, 3.5mm single-ended), which the page calls swappable
- Impedance, sensitivity, frequency range and noise reduction (26dB) are all given in the page text
- Four-way frequency division is described, with each switch tied to one band (lower end, mids, highs, ultra-high)
Worth noting
- Impedance (12-20Ω) and sensitivity (105-108dB/mW) are ranges, and the page text does not tie them to any switch setting
- The page text names no connector type for the earpiece end of the cable, such as 2-pin
- The page text gives no weight figure or shell material, and no box list beyond the cable and plugs
- Noise reduction of 26dB comes with no test method in the page text
Questions before you buy
How do the tuning switches on the Anole V14 work?
The page says each earpiece has four sound tuning switches, one each for the lower end, mids, highs and ultra-high frequencies, which it says give 16 tuning options. The page text gives no measurement for any setting.
Which termination plugs are included?
The page lists 2.5mm balanced, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended termination plugs as included, on a 12-core copper-silver hybrid cable whose termination plugs it calls swappable.
Why are impedance and sensitivity given as ranges?
The page text does not say why: it lists impedance as 12-20Ω and sensitivity as 105-108dB/mW without tying them to any switch setting, so it gives no single figure for either.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- Impedance (12-20Ω) and sensitivity (105-108dB/mW) are ranges with no stated switch setting, and the 26dB noise reduction has no test method in the page text.
- The page calls the multi-tube divider patented and says it gives output free of multi-driver distortion; the page text gives no patent number or measurement, only a note that the curve is third-party measured and for reference only.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
