Our verdict

Aimed at buyers who want true wireless earbuds with a planar driver, Bluetooth 6.0 and LDAC, and who accept specification figures from pictures alone. Look elsewhere if you need battery hours with LDAC, a THD figure stated one way, the magnetic protective case included at $39.99 or an outside measurement. The main caveats are that the pictures state THD two ways and that the 7 and 24 Hours figures are for AAC only.

Why 3.3/5: Held back by the lack of a specification list in the page text, by claims left to pictures that were only partly read, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and because no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.

The Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra is a true wireless earbud with a 13mm single-magnetic planar driver, listed from $39.99. Its description is 24 pictures rather than text. They list Bluetooth 6.0, model MD-TWS-043, a 13mm annular driver, SBC, AAC and LDAC, about 7 Hours of earphone life and about 24 Hours of case life on AAC, and a comparison table with columns named Space Travel 2 and Space Travel.

Options and pricing

Four options are listed: Space Travel 2 Ultra at $39.99, with Magnetic Case at $45.98, Magnetic Case Only at $9.99 and with Leather Case at $49.99, all orderable when the page was read. The $9.99 entry is an accessory sold alone. A picture states that the magnetic protective case is not included, and the page lists a Magnetic Case option separately. The pictured package list names the earbuds, a charging cable, ear tips in S, M and L, a manual and several cards.

How it compares

At $39.99 the DUNU VIVALDI Open Ear Wireless Bluetooth 5.3 Earphones match the Ultra's base price and are named open-ear with Bluetooth 5.3, against a 13mm planar driver and, per its pictures, Bluetooth 6.0 here. The Moondrop Quark2 HiFi USB-C Micro Dynamic Driver In-Ear Earphone costs $19.99 and is named a USB-C in-ear earphone. The Space Travel 2 Ultra suits buyers who want a TWS earbud with ANC and LDAC per its pictures; the VIVALDI suits those who prefer an open-ear fit and the Quark2 those who want a USB-C in-ear earphone.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Bluetooth 6.0 with SBC, AAC and LDAC, and dual-device connection among the app functions, per the pictures
  • A pictured comparison table sets the Ultra against the Space Travel 2 (13mm dynamic, beryllium-plated dome diaphragm) and the Space Travel (13mm dynamic, titanium dome diaphragm)
  • The pictured battery figures name their condition: about 7 Hours for the earphone and about 24 Hours for the case on AAC
  • A 55ms low-latency game mode and built-in NPU hardware for call quality are named in the pictures
  • Battery capacities are listed in the pictures: 3.7V/35mAh for the earphone and 3.7V/380mAh for the charging case

Worth noting

  • THD is ≤0.05% at 1kHz in one picture but lower than 0.05% for the whole range in another, whose graph shows curves above the 0.05% gridline at both ends
  • The 7 Hours and 24 Hours figures are for AAC; a picture says LDAC significantly reduces battery life, and the pictures read give no LDAC figure
  • The description is 24 pictures with no specification list as text, and many were read by headline only

Questions before you buy

What driver does the Space Travel 2 Ultra use?

The pictures list a 13mm planar driver, described as a patented 13mm annular single-magnetic planar driver. A pictured comparison table sets it against 13mm dynamic drivers in the Space Travel 2 (beryllium-plated dome diaphragm) and the Space Travel (titanium dome diaphragm).

Which codecs and Bluetooth version does it use?

The pictured product information gives Bluetooth 6.0, SBC, AAC and LDAC, A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP profiles and a 10 Meters range in an open environment. A picture says LDAC must be enabled manually in the MOONDROP app, restarts the earbuds, and will increase power consumption and significantly reduce battery life.

What is the battery life?

The pictures give about 7 Hours for the earphone and about 24 Hours for the charging case, both on AAC, with capacities of 3.7V/35mAh and 3.7V/380mAh. A picture warns that LDAC significantly reduces battery life, and the pictures read give no LDAC figure.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • THD is ≤0.05% at 1kHz in one picture but lower than 0.05% for the whole range in another, whose graph shows curves above the 0.05% gridline at the low and high ends.
  • The 7 Hours and about 24 Hours figures are for AAC, and a picture says LDAC significantly reduces battery life, so no figure in the pictures read covers LDAC use.
  • Claims in the pictures, not checked here: an effective noise cancellation area improved by 36%, a response in line with a 5128 VDSF target, a 55ms game-mode delay that may differ with interference and connected equipment, and a patented driver.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
