Nobsound NS-04G PRO Stereo Amplifier 100W x 2 Review
A bare-bones stereo power amp with a stereo RCA input and 100W + 100W of TPA3116D2 class-D power into 4-8Ω speakers for $46.99.

Our verdict
The NS-04G PRO is the simplest kind of hi-fi component: a stereo power amplifier with an RCA input and 100W + 100W of class-D output from a pair of TPA3116D2 chips. It is aimed at people who already own a source with its own volume control and just want clean, quiet power in a small box. Distortion and noise figures are strong for the $46.99 price; the trade-offs are the RCA-only input and the optional power adapter.
- Best for
- Listeners who already have a preamp or volume-controlled source and just need clean stereo power.
- Skip if
- You need Bluetooth or digital inputs, tone controls, or a headphone output.
Why 3.6/5: The page gives chips, load, distortion, noise, size, weight and a packing list for a plain RCA-only amp. Held back by a $46.99 price without the 19V adapter ($56.99 with it), an SNR claim with no conditions, and no Bluetooth or tone controls.
The Nobsound NS-04G PRO is a mini stereo power amplifier priced at $46.99, and the listing describes it as the latest updated version with a simplified circuit, upgraded components and better sound quality. It is a two-channel, class-D design for home and desktop systems.
Each channel uses a TPA3116D2 integrated circuit, giving a maximum output power of 100W + 100W into a 4Ω load, enough in the maker's words to drive home bookshelf, computer, desktop, floor-standing and outdoor passive speakers. The only audio input is a standard stereo L/R RCA connection, but there is a built-in preamplification circuit, so sources with low output levels can still drive the amplifier properly. The speaker terminals use a staggered design for more space and easier connection, and read as 4-8Ω loads.
Measured performance is quoted at THD of 0.01% or less and SNR of at least 118dB, with a 20Hz-20kHz (±1dB) frequency response and input sensitivity of 280mV or below. The maker highlights reasonable circuit layout, concise wiring, protection against sparks and shocks, and smooth, natural sound with strong low frequency and delicate high frequency. The aluminium case is black, measuring 87 x 108 x 35mm and weighing 290g, and it runs from DC 12V-24V with a 19V supply available as an optional extra. The package contains the amplifier, a user manual and the power supply if the bundled version is chosen.

How it compares
The NS-04G PRO's review price of $46.99 is its Without Power Adapter option; the page opens on With Power Adapter at $56.99. Against the Nobsound NS-13G 2.0 Channel Amplifier 100W+100W review ($54.99 without an adapter, $64.99 with its 19V/4.74A one), which uses the same two TPA3116D2 chips and also takes RCA only, it is $8.00 cheaper in both versions. The NS-13G adds plus or minus 10dB tone control with bypass and prints 100W+100W above 24V at 8A; the NS-04G PRO adds a built-in preamp stage for low-output sources and a printed SNR of 118dB or better, 20dB above the NS-13G's 98dB, with no test conditions behind either figure.
With Bluetooth added, the Nobsound NS-15G TPA3116 Amplifier 100W+100W review ($49.99) is the same chip pair at 100W+100W above 24V at 8A, with tone controls. The Nobsound NS-06G TPA3116 Class D Amplifier review ($42.99) is the step down: a TPA3116 rated 60W x 2, RCA only, a 19V adapter in the box, 0.04% THD+N and an SNR of 101dB or better. The NS-04G PRO suits a wired desktop or TV setup where the source is a PC, DAC or CD player and the speakers are bookshelf size; skip it if you need Bluetooth or tone controls.
Shipping, returns and warranty
- Shipping: Douk Audio's current shipping page says orders are generally processed no later than the next business day and arrive in 2-8 business days, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted otherwise.
- Older shipping terms are still online: airmail at 10-25 days for parcels under 2 kg, DHL, UPS or FedEx at 5-8 days above that, and a line saying the store is not responsible for import duties. Check the delivery estimate and any duties at checkout.
- Returns: ask within 30 days of delivery and wait for approval before sending anything; an approved return has to ship within 7 days. Items need all packaging and accessories and no excessive wear, or the store can refuse them or refund part of the price. Refunds go to the original payment method after inspection.
- Not refunded: original and expedited shipping, duties, taxes and customs charges, unless the law requires it or the store made the error. The return page does not say who pays return postage, and the older refund page excludes mistaken orders and change-of-mind returns from free after-sale service.
- Warranty: 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair, a replacement unit and free shipping both ways for covered repairs. Drops, liquid, DIY repairs, lightning, extreme temperatures and misuse are excluded (partial fees may apply), and damage from weak packing on the way back may not be covered. The older refund page still says 1 year.
- Seller: the site is run by Shenzhen Anba Technology Co., Ltd (Shenzhen, China) and HONGKONG LONGSHENG Import and Export Trading Co., Limited (Hong Kong); support is by email at [email protected]. These terms cover orders placed on doukaudio.com; other sellers apply their own.
For this product, the page lists US, UK, EU, AU and Other under 'Shipping to' and shows Free Shipping, 2-8 Days Arrival, 30-Day Return and 2-Year Warranty badges near the price.
What we liked
- 100W + 100W from two TPA3116D2 chips in one compact aluminium box
- Built-in preamp circuit so low-output sources can still drive it to full volume
- Very low distortion and noise figures: THD of 0.01% or less and SNR of at least 118dB
- Staggered speaker terminals give more space for banana plugs and thicker cable
- Small chassis at 87 x 108 x 35mm, weighing 290g
Worth noting
- Analog stereo RCA is the only input: no Bluetooth, no USB and no digital inputs
- No tone controls, no subwoofer output and no headphone jack
- The 19V power supply is optional at checkout, so the basic version has no adapter
Questions before you buy
What sources can I connect?
A stereo L/R RCA cable from any line-level source: phone, TV, MP3 player, CD player, DAC or computer. There is no Bluetooth or digital input.
How much power does it deliver?
A maximum of 100W + 100W into a 4Ω load, from two TPA3116D2 chips. Speakers should be 4-8Ω.
Is the power supply included?
It is sold with or without a 19V power supply, so select the version that includes one if you need it.
Does it have volume control?
The listing describes only a stereo RCA input and a built-in preamplification circuit, so volume is set at the source feeding it.

What we couldn’t verify
- $46.99 is the Without Power Adapter option; the page opens on With Power Adapter at $56.99. The cheaper option leaves out the 19V power supply, which the packing list marks optional, so the buyer needs a DC 12-24V supply of their own.
- The review's FAQ says the amp has no volume control and volume is set at the source; the page lists a 'smooth volume control knob' with an integrated power switch.
- SNR 118dB or better is 20dB above the 98dB the NS-13G and NS-15G pages print for the same TPA3116D2 pair, and no weighting, level or test power is named; THD and the frequency range have no conditions either. The review body calls them 'measured'; they are printed figures.
- 100W+100W is given for a 4 ohm load with no supply voltage or distortion level; the page sells a 19V supply option without stating its current.
- The page says a built-in preamplification circuit suits low-output sources but gives no gain figure, only an input sensitivity of 280mV or below.
- 'Latest updated version' with a simplified circuit and upgraded components is the page's claim; it names no earlier model or list of changes.
