Our verdict

This cable suits buyers who want a 1.2m/4ft cable in MMCX with a 3.5mm or 2.5mm plug at $57.99 and like to see the copper, cords and insulation written out in a spec section. Anyone who needs a 0.78mm 2pin or 4.4mm cable right now should look elsewhere, since those options were sold out when read. The main caveat is that the sound claims in the page text come with no measurement.

Why 3.5/5: Held back by terms that contradict each other across the store's own pages, and by no independent test of this cable checked for this review, so the spec figures are the store's own.

Priced at $57.99, the OE Audio 2DualOFC is a 1.2m/4ft earphone cable whose spec section gives its material as ≤8PPM Purity Nexans Oxygen Free Copper in 4 Cords (2 Cores x 2 Cords), with Teflon insulation and a TPU coating. The options name 3.5mm, 4.4mm and 2.5mm plugs with 0.78mm 2pin or MMCX connectors, and two of the four listed combinations were sold out when the page was read.

Four combinations are listed. 3.5mm / 0.78mm 2pin is $57.99 and 4.4mm / 0.78mm 2pin is $61.99; both were sold out when the page was read. 3.5mm / MMCX and 2.5mm / MMCX are $57.99 each and were orderable. No 4.4mm MMCX or 2.5mm 0.78mm 2pin combination is listed, and no color option appears.

How it compares

The HAKUGEI Sound Of Thunder Litzs 6N OCC Copper Mixed Silver Earphone Cable is $60 and its title names 2Pin MMCX with 2.5 /3.5 /4.4 plugs, against $57.99 here. The HAKUGEI Gentleman Litz 7N OCC Copper With Cotton Fibre Filled Shield 5-in-1 Switchable Plug Earphone Cable starts at $58 and names a 5-in-1 switchable plug. The OE Audio suits buyers who want MMCX with a 3.5mm or 2.5mm plug and a spec list given as text; the Gentleman suits buyers who want a switchable plug set.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

Cables and adapters get three months of warranty from the order date, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs; a note on the same page also excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while the FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • The spec section gives a 1.2m/4ft length, ≤8PPM Purity Nexans Oxygen Free Copper and 4 Cords (2 Cores x 2 Cords)
  • Inner cords are listed as 0.08x19x2 with Teflon insulation and a TPU coating
  • Three plug sizes (3.5mm, 4.4mm, 2.5mm) and two connector types (0.78mm 2pin, MMCX) are named
  • The features list gives 101.3% of the IACS Standard and the production steps (diamond dies, peeling, annealing)
  • Both MMCX options were orderable when the page was read, at $57.99

Worth noting

  • Both 0.78mm 2pin options, including the only 4.4mm one at $61.99, were sold out when the page was read
  • Only four plug and connector combinations are listed; there is no 4.4mm MMCX option
  • The page text's claims about transparency, detail and bass flexibility come with no measurement

What we couldn’t verify

  • The page says the cable improves the transparency of the high frequency, detail and the flexibility of the bass, and that its diamond-die process eliminates the loss of high-frequency signals; the page text gives no measurement for any of this.
  • Figures such as 101.3% of the IACS Standard and ≤8PPM come with no source, test report or explanation in the page text.
  • The page also says the gold-plated connectors augment bass performance and calls the cable skin contact friendly; these are claims and were not checked.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
  • HiFiGO's warranty page excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while its FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition.
