Our verdict

For buyers who want an 11.5mm-thick Android player with an AK4499EX DAC, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM and who accept that the page text gives no output power. Look elsewhere if you need a stated power figure, a confirmed microSD limit or a 4.4mm output without an adapter. The main caveat is that the amplifier and card lines are unfinished on the page, and every number is the store's own.

Why 3.6/5: Lifted by a specification list with figures; held back by store terms that contradict each other and by figures that are all the store's own, with no independent test of this model checked.

At 11.5mm thick, the SHANLING ONIX Waltz XM10 LTD is a stainless-steel Android player that its page calls the thinnest of its kind. It pairs an AKM AK4499EX DAC with an AK4191 and dual AD8397 headphone amplifiers, and runs Android 13 on a Snapdragon 665 with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The player is $849; the page's other option is a case at $59.

Options and pricing

Two options are listed: the player at $849, with the page showing a crossed-out price of $899, and Case Only at $59. Both were orderable when the page was read. The case is an accessory sold alone, so $59 is not the player's price. The page lists the 4.4mm balanced output as available via an adapter and its text does not say whether that adapter is included.

How it compares

For $739 the SHANLING ONIX Overture XM5 lists an ES9039PRO DAC and dual TPA6120 in its name, against the AK4499EX and AK4191 here at $849. The HiBy R6Pro Max is $999 and its spec line names 8-way I/V amplification, while the SHANLING M6 Pro is $703.12 with a pair of AKM AK4497EQ chips. The XM10 LTD suits buyers who want an AKM AK4499EX in an 11.5mm-thick body; the M6 Pro suits a smaller budget.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • AKM AK4499EX DAC with an AK4191 and dual AD8397 headphone amplifiers, per the page
  • 11.5mm thick, which the page calls the thinnest of its kind, with a stainless steel body
  • Android 13 on a Snapdragon 665 with 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and a microSD slot
  • 6-inch 2160 x 1080 touchscreen plus six hardware buttons
  • Two-way Bluetooth 5.0, an XMOS XU316 USB input and 18W QC and PD charging listed

Worth noting

  • The page text gives no output power figure: the amplifier line ends with a colon and no numbers follow
  • The microSD line carries a leftover placeholder instead of a maximum capacity, so the card limit is not stated
  • The 4.4mm balanced output is described as via adapter, and the page text does not say whether the adapter is included
  • Battery is 4300mAh for up to 8 hours of playback, with no conditions and no standby figure in the page text
  • The page text lists no Bluetooth codecs and no SNR, THD or frequency-response figures

Questions before you buy

What output power does the SHANLING ONIX Waltz XM10 LTD list?

None in the page text. The page names dual AD8397 headphone amplifiers and promises output power, but the line ends with a colon and no figure follows.

Which outputs and memory card does the XM10 LTD list?

The page lists a 3.5mm single-ended output and a 4.4mm balanced output via adapter. Memory is 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM with a microSD slot, but the card capacity line holds a leftover placeholder instead of a figure.

What battery and charging does the XM10 LTD list?

The page lists a 4300mAh battery for up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, and 18W Quick Charge (QC) and PD charging.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • The amplifier line promises output power and then lists none, and the microSD line carries a leftover placeholder instead of a capacity.
  • The page calls it the thinnest Hi-Fi Android player at 11.5mm and says Android 13 ensures compatibility with the latest apps and updates; the page text names no other player and gives no update policy.
  • The 8 hours of playback, the superior decoding accuracy and dynamic range claim for the AK4499EX and AK4191, and the seamless Bluetooth wording come with no measurements or conditions in the page text.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
