Our verdict

A fit for a desktop or bookshelf-speaker setup that wants a digital power amplifier with RCA, USB and Bluetooth inputs and a BTL mono mode at $195.99. Look elsewhere if you need a named amplifier chip, Bluetooth codec or USB sample-rate details, none of which the page gives, or if the out-of-stock note concerns you. The main caveat is that every figure comes from the store's page, and no independent test was checked for this review.

Why 3.6/5: A nine-line specification list with figures lifts it. The store's own terms contradict each other and no independent test of this model was checked for this review, which holds it back.

Listed at $195.99, the SMSL A300 is a desktop digital power amplifier that, per the page, uses an Infineon amplifier chip and an NJRC NJW1194 volume chip. It runs in stereo or in a bridged single-channel BTL mode, takes RCA, USB and Bluetooth V5.0 inputs, and has a subwoofer output for a 2.1Ch setup. The page lists 165Wx2 at 4Ω in stereo.

Options and pricing

One option is listed, Default Title, at $195.99, and it showed as orderable when the page was read, although a note at the top of the description calls the item out of stock. The page names no colors, plugs or cables. A remote control and an OLED display are among the listed features, but the page text has no in-the-box list, so speaker leads and any extras are not confirmed.

How it compares

The SMSL RAW-MHA1 Digital High Power Amplifier is listed at $199.99 against $195.99 here, and its spec line names an Infineon chipset; the A300's title adds Bluetooth5.0 and a remote, which the RAW-MHA1 title does not. The SMSL AO200 Digital Amplifier Bluetooth 5.0 Balanced Input at $279 is named for a balanced input. Choose the A300 for Bluetooth and a remote at the lower price; choose the AO200 if a balanced input matters.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Stereo output listed as 165Wx2 at 4Ω and 85Wx2 at 8Ω, plus a bridged BTL mode at 330Wx1
  • RCA, USB and Bluetooth V5.0 inputs plus a subwoofer output for a 2.1Ch setup
  • Specification section covers THD+N, SNR, channel separation, input impedance, size and weight
  • An OLED display and a remote control are listed

Worth noting

  • The Infineon chip is not named by model, and no Bluetooth codecs or USB sample rates are given
  • THD+N of 0.004% and SNR of 103dB come with no measurement conditions
  • The description opens with an out-of-stock note while the option shows as orderable

Questions before you buy

How much power does the A300 list, and into what load?

Per the page, 165Wx2 at 4Ω and 85Wx2 at 8Ω in stereo, and 330Wx1 in BTL mode at 4-8Ω. The page gives no distortion level for those power figures; its THD+N of 0.004% is listed on its own.

Which inputs and outputs does it have?

The spec line lists RCA, Bluetooth and USB inputs, and the text adds Bluetooth V5.0. There is a separate subwoofer output for a 2.1Ch system. No optical, coaxial or balanced input is listed.

What is the BTL mode?

The page describes dual operation modes, stereo and bridged single-channel, and says BTL turns the A300 into a high-power mono amplifier for large speakers, at 330Wx1. The page text does not describe the speaker wiring for that mode.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • The description starts with a note that the item is out of stock, with new stock expected 'mid-to-late April', yet the option shows as orderable; the page does not say which is current.
  • THD+N of 0.004%, SNR of 103dB and the 'Hi-Res Audio Certified' line are the page's claims; no test conditions or certifying body are named in the page text.
  • The Infineon chip has no model name, and the page gives no Bluetooth codecs or USB sample rates.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
