A transportable USB DAC and headphone amp from xDuoo, listed at $799, with a replaceable DAC card (ES9039S Pro as stock), Bluetooth with LDAC and a 13600mAh battery per the page. It suits buyers who want to swap DAC cards or op-amps and need the listed 2W at 32Ω.

Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want a transportable USB and Bluetooth DAC and headphone amp with replaceable DAC cards and output power listed at two loads. Look elsewhere if you need sample-rate figures, weight, dimensions or a list of all inputs and outputs, none of which the page text gives. The ROHM card is a separate purchase, and the distortion and noise figures come with no test conditions.

Why 3.6/5: Lifted by the specification section in the page text, with battery, output power and noise figures; held back because the store's own terms contradict each other and no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.

xDuoo's XD05 Pro is described on the page as a transportable USB DAC/AMP and is listed at $799. Per the page its stock DAC card carries an ESS ES9039S Pro chip, and the page says the DAC card and the op-amps can be replaced, with a ROHM BD34301EKV card sold separately. It has 6.35mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, Bluetooth with LDAC and AptX HD, and a 13600mAh battery. The page lists up to 2W at 32Ω and 930mW at 300Ω.

Options and pricing

One option is listed, XD05 Pro at $799, orderable when the page was read; the group is called Color although its only entry is the model name. The page describes a stock ES9039S Pro DAC card and says the ROHM BD34301EKV card is purchased separately, so that card is a separate purchase. The feature list mentions double-shielded USB connector cables, but the page text gives no package contents list.

How it compares

The iBasso DC-Elite is $499.99 and names the ROHM BD34301EKV chip in its title, while the XD05 Pro lists that chip as an extra card beside its stock ES9039S Pro card. The QULOOS MUB5 R2R is $1,300 with a 19+5 segmented R2R architecture in its spec line, and the SMSL DO300EX is $469 with AK4191 and AK4499EX chips in its name. Pick the XD05 Pro if replaceable DAC cards matter at $799; the DO300EX or DC-Elite fit a smaller budget, and the MUB5 fits an R2R preference.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • The page says the DAC card and the op-amps can be replaced, with a ROHM BD34301EKV card available separately
  • Output power is listed at two loads: up to 2W at 32Ω and 930mW at 300Ω
  • 6.35mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, with three-level gain per the page
  • Bluetooth codecs are named: LDAC, AptX HD, AptX LL, AptX, AAC and SBC
  • The specification section gives a 13600mAh battery, output impedance, crosstalk, THD+N and SNR figures

Worth noting

  • THD+N (0.0007%) and SNR (at least 120dB) are given without the output, load or frequency they apply to
  • The page text gives no weight or dimensions
  • DSD512 appears only in the store title; the page text gives no PCM or DSD sample-rate figures
  • The ROHM BD34301EKV card is a separate purchase and the page text gives no price for it
  • The page says 'Multiple Input/Output Interfaces' but does not list them all; the text names USB, Bluetooth, an Aux mode and the two headphone outputs

Questions before you buy

Can the DAC chip be replaced?

The page says the audio card can be replaced, including the primary DAC chipset, and that the op-amps can be replaced too. It names two cards, ES9039S Pro (stock) and ROHM BD34301EKV (purchased separately), and says AKM and R2R-based cards are being designed.

What output power and impedance does it list?

The specification section lists up to 2W at 32Ω and 930mW at 300Ω, with an output impedance of at most 0.2Ω single-ended and 0.4Ω balanced.

Which Bluetooth codecs and battery figures does it list?

LDAC, AptX HD, AptX LL, AptX, AAC and SBC. The battery is 13600mAh, with up to 11H on USB and up to 20H in Aux, and a charging time of at most 6 Hours with a fast charger.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • DSD512 is named only in the store title: the page text gives no PCM or DSD sample-rate figures. The store's tags list AKM, but the page names an ESS stock chip and describes AKM cards only as being designed.
  • THD+N of 0.0007%, SNR of at least 120dB and the crosstalk figures have no load, frequency or measurement conditions; battery life is 'up to' 11H on USB and 20H in Aux with no test conditions stated.
  • The page's sound wording (impressive, top-quality, personalized sound) is its own description, not a measurement.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
