Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want a case with 4 adjustable compartments and a sling strap, sized at 25.5cm by 22.5cm by 6cm and weighing 850g empty, as the page lists. Look elsewhere if you need cables included, a stated color or a different length, such as the 32cm listed for the Portable. Style wording on the page is copy, and no independent test of this model was among the sources checked for this review.

Why 3.4/5: Pulled down by the store's own terms contradicting each other, a short page text, and no independent test checked for this review.

Listed at $99 as a case-only option, Effect Audio's Chamber Carrying Case is given a length of 25.5cm, a width of 22.5cm, a height of 6cm and a weight of 850g (empty case without cables and other accessories) in the page's specification section. The page text describes 4 separate compartments with an adjustable system, materials of basket weave Oxford Cloth, Sandwich Cloth and Microfibre Leather, and an included sling strap.

Options and pricing

The single option, Chamber Case Only, costs $99 and could be ordered when the page was read. The page text says a sling strap is included and cables are not, and it gives no color. The 850g weight is stated for the empty case, without cables and other accessories.

How it compares

The Effect Audio Portable Carrying Case is also $99, and its spec line reads Length: 32cm against 25.5cm here. For a lower price there is the Effect Audio Solo Carrying Case at $39, whose spec line says ear tips, pins and tools are not included. The Chamber suits a buyer who wants the 4 adjustable compartments and sling strap its page lists; the Portable's listing is the one to read for a 32cm length.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty excludes carrying cases, ear tips and other accessories, and a note on its return page excludes ear tips (earplugs) and holsters from returns for hygiene reasons, so treat these as final sales once opened. Questions go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Length, width, height and an 850g weight for the empty case are all in the specification section
  • The page text describes 4 separate compartments with an adjustable system, so each compartment's size can be changed
  • Materials are named: basket weave Oxford Cloth, Sandwich Cloth and Microfibre Leather
  • The page text says a sling strap is included

Worth noting

  • The page text says cables are not included, and the one option is named Chamber Case Only
  • The page text gives no color, compartment dimensions or list of the equipment it is sized for
  • No strap length or load rating appears in the page text

Questions before you buy

What are the dimensions and weight of the Chamber Carrying Case?

Its specification section gives a length of 25.5cm, a width of 22.5cm and a height of 6cm, plus 850g for the empty case without cables and other accessories.

What is the Chamber Carrying Case made of and how is it divided?

The page text names basket weave Oxford Cloth, Sandwich Cloth and Microfibre Leather, and describes 4 separate compartments with an adjustable system so the size of each compartment can be changed. A sling strap is included and cables are not.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

Is there a warranty on accessories like this?

No. HiFiGO's warranty excludes carrying cases, ear tips and other accessories, and its return page excludes ear tips and holsters for hygiene reasons.

What we couldn’t verify

  • Details that sit only in the page's pictures, which were not read for this review, are not covered here; the page text itself gives no color, compartment dimensions, strap length or list of the equipment the compartments suit.
  • Wording about a fashion lifestyle statement and greater ease of carrying is page copy; the page text gives no figure behind it.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.

  • HiFiGO's return page excludes ear tips (earplugs) and holsters from returns for hygiene reasons, and its warranty excludes cases, ear tips and other accessories.
