FiiO FA19 10-BA IEMs Review
An all-balanced-armature in-ear monitor with 10 Knowles drivers and a two-way tuning switch, listed at $999.99. It suits buyers who want MMCX connectors, swappable 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs on a silver cable, and a page that gives 10Ω@1kHz and 106dB/Vrms.

Our verdict
Suits buyers who want an armature-only IEM with a two-way tuning switch, MMCX connectors and swappable 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs, with 10Ω@1kHz and 106dB/Vrms on the page. Look elsewhere if you want 2-pin connectors or a distortion figure, neither of which the page text lists, or any measurement beyond the page's note about a third-party curve. The tuning, notch-filter and Hi-Res claims are the page's words.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a 10-driver all-BA IEM with a Monitor and HiFi tuning switch and MMCX connectors.
- Skip if
- You need 2-pin connectors or a distortion figure, neither of which the page text lists.
Why 3.5/5: What holds it back is the store's own terms, which contradict each other, and the fact that every figure is the store's own, since no independent test was checked for this review.
FiiO's FA19 is an all-balanced-armature in-ear monitor listed at $999.99, with 10 Knowles drivers that the page splits into four custom bass drivers, two ED midrange drivers and four SWFK treble drivers. The page gives 10Ω@1kHz, 106dB/Vrms, a 20Hz-40kHz range and about 7grams per unit. It also lists expanded MMCX connectors, a two-way Monitor and HiFi tuning switch and a 1.2m silver cable with swappable 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs.

Options and pricing
One option, FA19, is listed at $999.99 and was orderable when the page was read. The page says the stock cable is an 8-strand high-purity silver cable of 1.2m with a straight twist-lock replaceable termination system, and that 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs are bundled in the package, so the single option covers both plug sizes. The earpieces use expanded MMCX connectors, and the page text gives no ear-tip or case details.
How it compares
The Softears SE6LIVE is also an armature design by its name, listed at $1,100 with 6 BA drivers against 10 here at $999.99. The Effect Audio Perseus is $999 and mixes 2DD, 2BA, 4MPD and 1BC drivers per its title, while the Colorfly Quintet is $899.99 with one dynamic driver and four armatures. The FA19 suits buyers who want 10 armatures with swappable plugs; the Quintet suits those who want a dynamic driver in the mix.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we couldn’t verify
- The Professionally Designed Electronic Crossover section names the FiiO KA19, while the rest of the page says FA19.
- The page says it is Hi-Res Audio Certified and tuned for true Hi-Res reproduction; the page text gives no certificate detail. A note at the top says the curve is measured by a third party and is for reference only; the page text does not name the party.
- Claims that a mid-frequency notch filter removes sibilance and that the bass enhancement improves the low end are the page's words; the page text gives no measurement behind them.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
