Our verdict

A fit for a buyer who wants balanced XLR and RCA line outputs with coaxial, optical and USB-C inputs, as the printed labels show, and who can confirm the remaining details elsewhere. Look elsewhere if you need output power, sample rates, a confirmed headphone output or a DAC chip the pictures name. The main caveat is that the store's title and the photos do not match.

You need a confirmed headphone output or published figures for power, DAC chip and sample rates.

Why 3.3/5: Held back by almost no page text and no specification list, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and because no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.

FiiO's K13 is listed at $309.99 in black or silver under a store title that calls it a DAC and headphone amplifier and names ES9039Q2M*2. The page has no description text, and the eight product photos read for this review show printed labels only: two XLR balanced outputs, four RCA line outputs, coaxial, optical and USB-C inputs, and AC and DC power inlets. None of the photos labels a headphone output or names a DAC chip.

Options and pricing

Two options are listed, K13 Black and K13 Silver, each at $309.99 and orderable when the page was read. The photos read for this review show both finishes with identical rear labels and show only the unit, so they give no in-the-box list or cable information.

How it compares

At $309.99 the K13 sits between the SMSL RAW-HA1 CS43131 Headphone Amplifier & Speaker Amplifier at $249.99 and the FiiO WARMER R2R Fully Balanced Desktop DAC & Headphone Amp at $349.99, with the XDUOO XA02/XA-02 ES9039Q2M MQA Balanced DAC & Headphone AMP at $199 below both. Their titles carry details such as a speaker amplifier, an R2R design or MQA, while the K13's photos read for this review give none. Pick the K13 only if its printed XLR and RCA outputs and three digital inputs are what you need.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Balanced XLR outputs (two jacks marked R and L) and four RCA line outs, per printed rear labels
  • Three digital inputs are labelled: coaxial (RCA), optical and USB-C
  • AC IN 100-240V 50/60Hz 30W and a DC IN jack marked DC 12V 2.5A are labelled, with a DC / AC power switch
  • Black and silver finishes at the same $309.99, with identical rear labels
  • MENU/INPUT and power/VOLUME knobs and a display on the front, per the photos

Worth noting

  • No specification table, output power, sample rate or chip name appears in the photos read for this review
  • No photo read for this review labels a headphone output, although the store's title calls it a DAC and headphone amplifier
  • The model name K13 does not appear in the photos read for this review, so the name rests on the store's title
  • Two round front sockets, a side USB-C port and two tiny logos near the antenna are unlabelled or unreadable
  • The pictures read for this review give no in-the-box list

Questions before you buy

Does the K13 have a headphone output?

The store's title calls it a DAC and headphone amplifier, but none of the eight photos read for this review labels a headphone output. Two round sockets sit either side of the display without labels, so the photos do not say what they are.

Which inputs and outputs are labelled?

Rear labels show R - BALANCED OUTPUT - L (two XLR jacks), LINE OUT (four RCA jacks), COAXIAL IN/OUT (RCA), OPTICAL IN, USB IN (USB-C), DC IN (DC 12V 2.5A) and AC IN 100-240V 50/60Hz 30W. A USB-C port on the right side near the front has a label too small to read.

Which DAC chip does it use?

The store's title names ES9039Q2M*2. No photo read for this review names a chip, so the title is the only source on the page.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • The store's title says DAC and Headphone Amplifier and names ES9039Q2M*2, but none of the eight photos labels a headphone output, names a DAC chip or shows the model name K13.
  • The page text gives no specification table, output power, sample rate or in-the-box list. Two front sockets, a side USB-C port and two tiny top-panel logos are unlabelled or unreadable, and the pictures read for this review state no use for the antenna at the back.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
  • FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
