FiiO K13 R2R Desktop DAC/Headphone Amp Review
A desktop DAC and headphone amplifier built on a fully differential 24-bit R2R resistor array, with USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth V5.4 inputs and a stated 2400mW per channel at 32Ω, listed at $319.99. It suits a desk that wants a DAC and amp in one box.

Our verdict
A fit for a desk that wants a DAC, Bluetooth and a balanced amp in one box at $319.99, with RCA and XLR pre/line-out for powered speakers. Look elsewhere if you need to know the headphone socket types before buying, or want distortion and SNR figures. The main caveat is that the page never names the headphone outputs and gives the PEQ as both 10-band and 1-band; every figure is the store's own.
- Best for
- Desk users who want an R2R DAC, Bluetooth and a balanced headphone amp in one unit.
- Skip if
- You need the headphone socket types or distortion and SNR figures stated up front.
Why 3.4/5: Held back by a page with no specification list as text and by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and because no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
FiiO's K13 R2R is a desktop DAC and headphone amplifier at $319.99 that builds its converter from a fully differential true 24-bit R2R resistor array. Per the page it accepts PCM up to 32bit/384kHz and native DSD256 through an XMOS USB processor, takes USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth V5.4 input, and runs a fully balanced amp section rated at 2400mW per channel at 32Ω. The page also lists RCA and XLR pre or line-out.

Options and pricing
Eight options are listed at $319.99 each, all orderable when the page was read: K13 R2R in Black or Silver, each labeled US, EU, UK or AU. The page does not say what the region labels change. No cable or accessory appears in the option names, and the page does not say which cables come in the box.
How it compares
The TOPPING L70 Full Balanced NFCA Headphone Amplifier costs $279 and its spec line names 4-pin XLR, 4.4mm balanced and 6.35mm single-ended headphone ports, which the K13 page never names. The TOPPING A30Pro NFCA Headphone Amplifier is $349.99 and cites up to 6W at 16ohms, a load the K13 page does not give. Both are named as headphone amplifiers, not DACs; the K13 at $319.99 adds a DAC, Bluetooth and digital inputs, so it suits a desk with no separate DAC.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Fully differential true 24-bit R2R resistor array DAC with NOS and OS modes, per the page
- PCM up to 32bit/384kHz and native DSD256 listed
- USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth V5.4 inputs, with LDAC listed
- Fully balanced amp section with 2400mW per channel at 32Ω listed
- RCA and XLR pre/line-out, so it can act as a DAC or pre-amp per the page
- 10-band PEQ, three gain levels and a 30W built-in supply with a DC input are listed
Worth noting
- The page never names the headphone sockets (4.4mm, 4-pin XLR or 6.35mm), only RCA and XLR pre/line-out
- No specification list: distortion, SNR, output impedance and dimensions are not given
- The PEQ is called 10-band in the features and 1-band in one sentence
- Eight options carry US, EU, UK and AU labels that the page does not explain
Questions before you buy
What inputs does the FiiO K13 R2R list?
The page lists USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth inputs. Bluetooth is V5.4 with LDAC, and the page names an XMOS USB processor and gives PCM up to 32bit/384kHz and native DSD256 without a per-input breakdown.
How much power does the page give for the K13?
The page lists 2400mW+2400mW, described as a maximum of 2400mW per channel at 32Ω, from a fully balanced amp section using dual OPA1642 and dual TPA6120A chips with three-level gain.
What are the NOS and OS modes?
The page describes two operating modes: NOS (Non-Oversampling), which keeps the original sampling rate of the recording, and OS (Oversampling), which upsamples to 384kHz.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The page says 10-band PEQ in the features and in a heading, but one sentence calls it '1-band PEQ'.
- It never names the headphone sockets or gives an output impedance; the 2400mW per channel figure is tied to 32Ω in one paragraph only, and no distortion or SNR figure is given.
- The sound claims for the R2R array and the OS mode are the page's words, with no measurement.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
