xDuoo XA-02 DAC/Headphone Amp Review
A DAC and headphone amplifier listed at $199 as the XA02/XA-02, with 6.35mm and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs. Its pictured table gives 910mW and 2000mW at 32Ω, so it suits a buyer who wants a balanced jack plus USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth inputs.

Our verdict
A fit for a buyer who wants a DAC with both 6.35mm and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs and a Bluetooth LDAC input at $199, and who accepts figures read from pictures. Look elsewhere if you need an in-the-box list or a per-channel statement of the 910mW and 2000mW figures. Every figure here is the page's own.
- Best for
- Listeners who want a DAC with a 4.4mm balanced jack and a Bluetooth LDAC input in one unit.
- Skip if
- You need to know whether the 910mW and 2000mW figures are per channel, or what is in the box.
Why 3.3/5: What holds it back: no specification list as text, a short page text with its claims in pictures, the store's own terms contradicting each other, and no independent test checked for this review, so every figure is the store's own.
The xDuoo XA-02, listed under the name XA02/XA-02, is a DAC and headphone amplifier priced at $199. The page's pictures name an ES9039Q2M DAC, USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth inputs, and 6.35mm and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs plus an AUX line output. A pictured table gives 910mW at 32Ω from the 6.35mm jack and 2000mW at 32Ω from the 4.4mm balanced jack.

Options and pricing
One option is listed, XA02/XA-02, at $199 and orderable when the page was read. No in-the-box list appears in the pictures read for this review, so the cables and accessories that come with it are not stated. A pictured table gives the power supply as AC 100-240V and the size as 20x17.5x4.7cm.
How it compares
At $199 the XA-02 is listed below the SMSL RAW-HA1 CS43131 Headphone Amplifier & Speaker Amplifier at $249.99 and the FiiO K13 ES9039Q2M*2 DAC and Headphone Amplifier at $309.99. The RAW-HA1's title adds a speaker amplifier, so it suits a buyer who wants speakers as well as headphones; the K13's title names the same ES9039Q2M chip as the XA-02's pictures. The XA-02 is the lowest-priced of the three, and its pictures show a 4.4mm balanced headphone output.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

Questions before you buy
Which headphone outputs and power does it list?
A 6.35mm output at 910mW and a 4.4mm balanced output at 2000mW, both at 32Ω, in a pictured table. The table does not say whether the figures are per channel, and it gives a suitable headphone impedance of 16Ω~600Ω.
Which inputs and file formats are listed?
USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth, per the pictures. A pictured table gives USB: PCM 16~32bit/44.1k~384kHz, DSD64~256 and MQA 44.1k~384kHz. Coaxial and optical: PCM 16~24bit/44.1~192kHz and DSD64(DOP). Bluetooth: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC.
Which DAC chip does the XA-02 use?
A picture listing nine advantages names ES9039Q2M, along with Class A, MQA 8X and DSD256. These are claims in the pictures; the store's title also names ES9039Q2M.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The pictured tables do not say whether the 910mW (6.35mm) and 2000mW (4.4mm balanced) figures, both at 32Ω, are per channel.
- A feature picture says THD+N up to 0.0005% while the table gives 0.0004% for the 4.4mm output and at most 0.0004% for AUX OUT. Claims such as Class A, really balanced and 'makes you barely hear background noise' are the page's own claims; no independent test was checked for this review.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
