FiiO RR11 Portable FM Radio Review
A 13mm-thick FM radio from FiiO with an Si4831 chip and three FM bands, listed at $59.99 in red or titanium gold. The page also describes an amplifier mode that turns it into a USB DAC/amp for a phone, with up to 8.5H of battery in FM mode and 17.5H in amp mode.

Our verdict
For buyers who want a 13mm FM radio that can also act as a USB DAC/amp for a phone, at $59.99. Look elsewhere if you need output power, impedance or battery capacity figures, which the page text omits. Reception depends on local stations and signal strength, as the page says, and the battery hours are 'up to' claims.
- Best for
- Buyers who want an FM radio that also works as a USB DAC/amp for a phone.
- Skip if
- You need output power, impedance or battery capacity figures before buying.
Why 3.4/5: Three things hold it back: the page text gives no specification list, the store's own terms contradict each other, and no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
FiiO's RR11 is an FM radio with a 13mm aluminum alloy body, priced at $59.99 on HiFiGO's page. The page names a Silicon Labs Si4831 radio chip and three FM bands, and says a Type-C interface lets it act as a USB DAC/amp for a smartphone. It lists JF11 earphones and a Type-C to Type-C adapter cable as bundled and gives battery hours, but no battery capacity in the page text.

Options and pricing
Two colors are listed as options, RR11 Red and RR11 Titanium Gold, both at $59.99 and orderable when the page was read. The page text speaks of four color options, which the option list does not match. No crossed-out price is shown. The page text has no box list beyond the JF11 earphones and the Type-C to Type-C adapter cable it says are bundled.
How it compares
The FiiO RR13 costs $69.99 against $59.99 here, and its title names Bluetooth connectivity and a retro style. For a music player instead of a radio, the xDuoo X5 is $209 and lists dual CS43131 DAC chips, and the FiiO M21 is $353.99 at Approximately 68mmx121mmx17mm. The RR11 suits FM listening with a phone-DAC mode at the lowest price of these; the other two are the ones titled as music players.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Si4831 radio chip with FM1, FM2 and FM3 band ranges listed
- Amp mode makes it a USB DAC/amp for a smartphone over Type-C, per the page
- Battery hours given for both modes: up to 8.5H in FM mode and up to 17.5H in amp mode
- 13mm thickness and aluminum alloy body stated
- JF11 earphones and a Type-C to Type-C adapter cable named as bundled
Worth noting
- No specification list as text: no output power, impedance, battery capacity or weight
- The option list shows two colors while the text speaks of four
- Battery hours are 'up to' figures with no test conditions in the page text
- Reception depends on local FM stations and signal strength, as the page itself notes
- Figures such as 8.5H and 17.5H are the store's claims; no independent test was checked here
Questions before you buy
Which FM bands does the RR11 cover?
The page lists three bands: FM1 at 87~108MHz, FM2 at 76~90MHz and FM3 at 64~87MHz, from a Silicon Labs Si4831 chipset. It adds that playback depends on local FM stations and signal strength.
How long does the battery last?
The page says up to 8.5H in FM mode and up to 17.5H in amp mode, with no battery capacity or test conditions in the page text.
Can it work as a phone DAC?
Per the page, a Type-C interface lets it act as a USB DAC/AMP for a smartphone, and a USB Type-C to Type-C DAC adapter cable is said to be bundled. The page text gives no output power or sample-rate figure for that mode.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The option list shows two colors (Red, Titanium Gold) while the text speaks of four color options; the page text gives no battery capacity, weight or output power.
- Sound claims are the page's own wording with no measurements in the page text: 'quality sound performance' in amp mode, 'punchier bass' for Magic Bass 1 and 'bass-boosted 3D Surround sound' for Magic Bass 2.
- The page says the built-in antenna 'significantly enhances' signal capture, with no reception figure in the text, and the page text gives no sensitivity or output figures for the radio.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
