FiiO RR13 Retro FM Radio Review
A retro-styled FM radio from FiiO with Bluetooth connectivity in its title, an Si4831 chip and a 450mAh battery, listed at $69.99 in four colors. The spec text gives its size as Approx.43.4x85.6x16.4mm and its weight as approximately 76g.

Our verdict
A retro-styled FM radio for buyers who want Bluetooth named in its title, at $69.99, with a spec text that gives size, weight and battery. Look elsewhere if you need Bluetooth details or readable load figures: the page text gives no Bluetooth version or codec, and several units in its output figures are garbled, so those numbers cannot be trusted as printed.

Why 3.5/5: Lifted by a specification list with 17 lines of figures; held back by a short page text whose claims mostly sit in pictures this review did not read, by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and by no independent test having been checked.
Bluetooth connectivity is named in the title of the FiiO RR13, a retro-styled FM radio priced at $69.99 on HiFiGO's page. Its short spec text lists an Si4831 reception chip, FM1 at 87-108MHz and FM2 at 76-90MHz, a 450mAh 10440 Li-ion battery and a body of Approx.43.4x85.6x16.4mm at approximately 76g. The page text gives no Bluetooth version or codec.

Options and pricing
Four radio colors are listed at $69.99 each and were orderable when the page was read: RR13 Vintage Gold, Black, Silver and Red. Three Nest RR13 Case options (Orange, Brown, Black) at $19.99 each are a case sold alone, so the $69.99 options are the ones that include the radio. A color note in the page text says Red and Retro Gold are expected to go on sale in September, which clashes with RR13 Red being orderable and, if 'Retro Gold' means the RR13 Vintage Gold option, with that one too.
How it compares
The FiiO RR11 is $59.99 against $69.99 here, and its title names the Si4831 chip and a portable stereo radio; the RR13's title adds retro styling and Bluetooth connectivity. The FiiO M21 is a $353.99 music player whose spec line gives Approximately 68mmx121mmx17mm, against Approx.43.4x85.6x16.4mm here. The RR13 suits a radio-first buyer; the M21 suits someone who wants a music player.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Spec text gives size (Approx.43.4x85.6x16.4mm), weight (approximately 76g) and battery (450mAh 10440 Li-ion)
- Si4831 chip with FM1 and FM2 tuning ranges listed
- Charges over Type-C at 5V-2A in approximately 2 hours, per the page
- Two modes with separate battery-life figures
- Four radio colors and a separate case option
Worth noting
- Bluetooth appears only in the title and a store tag; the page text gives no version, codec or range
- Several load and impedance figures are garbled in the page text, for example 'Matching Impedance: 8~10002'
- A spec block is headed 'Microphone Mode' with no explanation in the page text
- The page text is short; this review did not read the page's pictures, so anything stated only there is not covered
- The color note about a September sale conflicts with the option list
- Size, weight and battery figures come from the store's text alone; no independent test was checked here
Questions before you buy
What size and battery does the RR13 list?

Which FM ranges does it list?
FM1 at 87-108MHz and FM2 at 76-90MHz, with an Si4831 reception chip. The text lists two ranges and names no third band.
Which Bluetooth details does the page give?
The title says 'with Bluetooth Connectivity'. The page text gives no version, codec or range, and this review did not read the page's pictures.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- Parts of the spec text look garbled: 'Matching Impedance: 8~10002', '(8Q,2.45Vrms)' and a weight line labeled 'Neight'; other loads are missing or misread, so the load figures cannot be read reliably.
- A spec block is headed 'Microphone Mode' although the page sells an FM radio, and the page text gives no Bluetooth version, codec or range.
- A color note says Red and Retro Gold are expected to go on sale in September, yet the option list shows RR13 Red and RR13 Vintage Gold (the note's wording is 'Retro Gold') as orderable when read.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
