FX-AUDIO DS07 DAC and Decoder Review
A DAC and decoder with USB, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth 5.1 inputs and RCA and XLR outputs, listed at $199 in black, for buyers who want both output types. Its pictured measurement screenshots show SNR and THD+N figures that differ from the pictured parameters.

Our verdict
Aimed at buyers who want a $199 DAC with USB, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth 5.1 inputs and both RCA and XLR outputs, with sample rates given per input. Look elsewhere if you need figures that agree: the pictured table and the two measurement screenshots differ on SNR and THD+N, and the chipset is printed two ways. Every spec figure here is the store's own and was read from pictures.

Why 3.3/5: The page text gives no specification list as text and most of its claims sit in pictures rather than text, the store's own terms contradict each other, and no independent test was checked for this review: every spec figure is the store's own. Together these hold the rating down.

Options and pricing
One option is listed, DS07-Black at $199, and it was orderable when the page was read. The packing list in picture 12 names one each of the DS07, an IR remote, a USB cable, a user manual, an AC power cable and a BT antenna; the pictures read for this review give no plug standard or input voltage for the AC power cable.
How it compares

Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- The picture 10 parameters table lists inputs (USB, optical, coaxial, Bluetooth) and outputs (RCA and XLR) in one place
- Sample rates are given per input: USB PCM 44.1-768kHz, optical and coaxial PCM 44.1-192kHZ, Bluetooth 24Bit/96kHz
- Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC and aptX HD is listed in the parameters table
- The packing list in picture 12 names an IR remote, a USB cable, a user manual, an AC power cable and a BT antenna
- Two measurement screenshots (pictures 07 and 08) are pictured, with input and output settings in their status bars
Worth noting
- The picture 10 table gives SNR 125dB and THD+N 0.00015%, but the picture 08 screenshot shows 121.603 dB and 121.557 dB and the picture 07 screenshot shows THD+N 0.000158 % and 0.000171 %
- The chipset is printed ES9068A+XMOS in the parameters table but ES9068AS in the store title and in pictures 00, 02 and 05
- Picture 00 lists aptX LL among the Bluetooth codecs, but the parameters table does not and prints ACC
- The page text gives no specification list as text, and four of the 13 pictures (product photos and a graph) could not be read for this review
- The pictures read give no weight

What we couldn’t verify
- CONFLICT: the picture 10 table gives SNR 125dB (picture 00: greater than 120dB) and THD+N 0.00015% (also in pictures 00 and 05), but the picture 08 screenshot shows 121.603 dB and 121.557 dB and the picture 07 screenshot shows 0.000158 % and 0.000171 %.
