Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want network streaming, an AKM-chip DAC and a headphone amp in one unit, with Roon Bridge, Airplay, UPnP, Spotify and Tidal listed. Look elsewhere if you need Bluetooth, which the page text does not mention, a stated line-out connector and level, or distortion and noise figures. The 1W figure covers the balanced output only, and every figure is the store's own.

Why 3.5/5: The store's own terms contradict each other, which holds it back, and no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.

GUSTARD's AUDALYTIC AH90 combines a network streamer, a DAC and a headphone amplifier, and the store lists it at $599.99 in Silver or Black. Per the page it uses AKM's AK4499EX DAC with an AK4191 modulator, an FPGA architecture and an XMOS XU316 USB processor. It takes LAN input for Roon Bridge, Apple Airplay, UPnP, Spotify and Tidal, and it has 6.35mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone jacks, with 1W maximum at 32Ω through the balanced connection.

Options and pricing

Two options are listed, AUDALYTIC AH90 Silver and AUDALYTIC AH90 Black, both at $599.99 and both orderable when the page was read; the option group is labeled Color. The page lists a remote control and an OLED display screen among its features and gives 295x265x85mm as the package size and 220x170x50mm as the product size. The page text lists no package contents or cables.

How it compares

The SMSL D400 MK2 is $649 and names the same AK4191 and AK4499EX pair as a desktop DAC, against $599.99 here with streaming and headphone jacks on the AH90 page. The TOPPING D70Pro is $699 and names Bluetooth 5.1 and LDAC, which the AH90 page text does not mention. The SMSL SU-9 PRO is $499.99 with MQA and BT 5.0 in its name. Neither the D400 MK2 nor D70Pro name mentions streaming, so the AH90 suits buyers who want it built in.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Network streaming is listed: a built-in LAN input with Roon Bridge, Apple Airplay, UPnP, Spotify and Tidal
  • AKM AK4499EX and AK4191 chips with an XMOS XU316 USB processor, per the page
  • 6.35mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, with 1W maximum at 32Ω through the balanced connection
  • 8x MQA decoding on USB, Coaxial and Optical inputs, plus 32-Bit/768kHz PCM and Native DSD512 per the page
  • OLED display screen and remote control are listed
  • Package and product dimensions are both given

Worth noting

  • The page text gives no line-out connector type or output level, only a switch between line-out and headphone-out
  • Headphone power is given only for the balanced connection (1W at 32Ω); the single-ended output has no figure
  • The page text gives no THD+N, SNR or DNR figures, only wording about that performance
  • The weight line (Approx 2 Kg) does not say whether it is the product or the package
  • The page text mentions no Bluetooth input

Questions before you buy

Which streaming services and protocols does it list?

The feature list gives Roon Bridge, Apple Airplay, UPnP, Spotify and Tidal, and the description adds HQ Player. The page says more protocols will be added in the future with the brand's support.

How much headphone power does it list?

The page gives 1W maximum at 32Ω through the balanced connection, which is the 4.4mm port. It gives no figure for the 6.35mm single-ended output.

Which inputs and formats does it support?

The page names a built-in LAN input and says 8x MQA decoding works across the USB, Coaxial and Optical inputs. It lists PCM up to 32-Bit/768kHz and Native DSD512. The page text mentions no Bluetooth.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • The feature list names Roon Bridge, Apple Airplay, UPnP, Spotify and Tidal while the description adds HQ Player; 'more protocols will be added in the future' is a promise with no detail.
  • The page text gives no line-out connector, line-out level, THD+N, SNR or DNR figure, and its sound claims about AKM chips are opinions with no measurement; the weight line does not say product or package.
  • 'Hi-Res' support and 8x MQA decoding are listed without certificate details.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
