Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want an R2R desktop DAC with balanced XLR and RCA outputs and are content to read its specifications from pictures. Look elsewhere if you need the page to say outright which model each figure covers, or an outside measurement. The main caveat is that the pictures disagree about whether the DR70 has a network bridge, and no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the page's own.

Best for

Why 3.3/5: Pulled down by a page with no written specification list, by claims that sit in pictures not all of which were read for this review, by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and by no independent test having been checked here.

The Audalytic DR70 from GUSTARD is an R-2R desktop DAC sold in two versions, the DR70 at $359.99 and the DR70N at $439.99, each in silver or black. HiFiGO's page description is pictures, not written text. A spec table pictured on it gives USB input at PCM 44.1kHz-768kHz with native DSD64-DSD512, balanced XLR and RCA outputs at 4Vrms and 2Vrms, a 20Hz-20kHz response within ±0.2dB and THD+N of 0.004% or less at 1kHz.

Options and pricing

Four options are listed: DR70 in silver or black at $359.99 and DR70N in silver or black at $439.99, all orderable when the page was read. A model table in picture 10 marks LAN and a TF card slot as present on the DR70N and absent on the DR70, while USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth are marked for both. A feature tile mentions remote control support, but no in-the-box list appears in the pictures that were opened, so what comes with the unit is not confirmed.

How it compares

The SMSL R100 R2R High-Resolution Audio DAC is listed at $289 against $359.99 for the DR70 and is also named an R2R DAC. The SMSL RAW-DAC1 AK4499ex+AK4191 Bluetooth 5.1 DAC costs $499.99 and is named for AK4499ex+AK4191 chips and Bluetooth 5.1, where the DR70 pictures describe discrete R-2R decoding and Bluetooth 5.0. The DR70 suits buyers who want an R2R design with XLR and RCA outputs; the DR70N at $439.99 suits those who also want the LAN input and TF card slot that the model table marks for it.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Two versions in one listing: the DR70 at $359.99 and, per the model table in the pictures, the DR70N with LAN and a TF card slot at $439.99
  • Balanced XLR (4Vrms) and RCA (2Vrms) outputs, both listed as fixed level in a pictured spec table
  • A pictured spec table lists USB input at PCM 44.1kHz-768kHz and native DSD64-DSD512; the pictures also show two coaxial inputs, optical and Bluetooth 5.0
  • Frequency response, dynamic range, SNR, crosstalk, THD+N and IMD figures are given in a pictured table
  • Size (220 x 170 x 50 mm) and net weight (1.5 kg) are given in the pictured spec table

Worth noting

  • A picture headed DR70 advertises a network bridge, but the model table marks LAN as DR70N only
  • The USB/Streamer spec rows do not say which model they cover
  • The AC input reads 110V/220V in rear-panel callouts and 115V/230V in the spec table
  • No in-the-box list appears in the pictures that were opened

Questions before you buy

What is the difference between the DR70 and the DR70N?

A model table in the pictures marks LAN and a TF card slot as present on the DR70N and absent on the DR70, while USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth are marked for both. HiFiGO lists the DR70 at $359.99 and the DR70N at $439.99.

Which inputs and outputs are listed?

The pictures list balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs, both fixed level, at 4Vrms on XLR and 2Vrms on RCA with 100Ω output impedance each. The rear-panel pictures also show coaxial inputs 1 and 2, an optical input, a USB-C input, a Bluetooth antenna and DC and AC power inputs.

What does the USB input accept?

The pictured spec table lists, on its USB/Streamer rows, PCM 44.1kHz-768kHz at 16Bit-32Bit, native DSD64-DSD512 and DoP DSD64-DSD256. It does not say which model those rows cover.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • A picture headed DR70 advertises a network bridge (Roon Bridge, AirPlay, UPnP, NAA), yet the model table marks LAN as DR70N only, and the USB/Streamer spec rows do not say which model they cover.
  • Rear-panel callouts give the AC input as 110V/220V while the spec table and panel print give 115V/230V. Claims such as R-2R being more direct and inherently pure than delta-sigma come from pictured text and were not checked for this review.
  • Nine of the 17 description pictures were not opened, so their figures are not used. No independent test was checked for this review; every figure is the page's own.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
