JUZEAR Flare 6N Hybrid Earphone Cable Review
An earphone cable from JUZEAR at $39.99. A pictured spec table gives a 1.2 meter length (with tolerance), 6N SPOCC+SCCW wire with 280 strands in total and 3.5mm and 4.4mm interchangeable plugs. It suits buyers who want both plug sizes; the pictures read give no ear-side connector type.

Our verdict
Suits buyers who want one cable with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs at $39.99 and are willing to rely on specifications read from pictures. Anyone who must know the ear-side connector type before ordering should look elsewhere, since the pictures read do not print it. The main caveat is the USB-C module the pictures show without saying whether it is included.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a 1.2m earphone cable with both 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs.
- Skip if
- You need the ear-side connector type or pin pitch, which the pictures read do not print.
Why 3.3/5: Held back by a page with no description text and figures that sit in pictures, by conflicting terms in the store's own pages, and by no independent test of this model checked for this review.
JUZEAR's Flare is an earphone cable that a pictured spec table gives as 1.2 meters long (with tolerance), 6N SPOCC+SCCW wire, 70 strands per wire and 280 strands in total, 22 AWG, with a PVC outer jacket. The same table lists 3.5mm + 4.4mm interchangeable plugs, and the cable costs $39.99 in Flare or Flare Green, with a Type C adapter sold alone at $9.99. The page has no description text, so the specification figures come from its pictures.

Options and pricing
Four options are listed under Color: Flare(3.5mm+4.4mm) and Flare Green(3.5mm+4.4mm) at $39.99 each, a Juzear Type C Adapter at $9.99, and Flare+Type C Adapter at $44.99. The $9.99 adapter is sold alone, so it is not the cable's price. The pictures show a USB-C plug module they call a 'USB-C decoder' but do not say whether it is the same item as the Type C Adapter or whether it comes with the $39.99 options.
How it compares
The DUNU Lyre Mini 240-Strand High-Purity OCC Earphone Cable is $29.99 and its title names a 240-strand OCC cable with Q-Lock Mini, against $39.99 here. The JUZEAR Flare Balanced Headphone Cable is $55.99 and is named a headphone cable, while this one is named an earphone cable. This Flare suits buyers who want 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs on one earphone cable; the DUNU suits a smaller budget.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
Cables and adapters get three months of warranty from the order date, against one year for DACs, amps and IEMs; a note on the same page also excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while the FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement and the buyer pays the shipping. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- A pictured spec table gives 1.2 meters, 22 AWG, 70 strands per wire, 280 in total and 0.38 Ω wire resistance
- 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs are named in the options and the spec table, which calls them interchangeable
- The pictures show both plugs, with a threaded collar on the 4.4mm plug
- Flare and Flare Green are both $39.99
Worth noting
- The pictures read give no ear-side connector type or pin pitch; the connectors show two gold pins each
- The pictures show a USB-C module called a USB-C decoder but do not say whether any option includes it
- The page has no description text, and four of its pictures were not read for this review

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. What we couldn’t verify
- Two pictures show a USB-C plug module called a 'USB-C decoder', but the spec table and the box back list only 3.5mm + 4.4mm interchangeable plugs, and no picture read says whether the module is included.
- A pictured spec table lists 'Warranty: 90 days', a service claim this review does not assess; the sound claims in the pictures (warmth from copper, detail from silver plating) are wording only.
- The ear-side connector type and pin pitch are not printed in the pictures read, and four pictures were not read.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- HiFiGO's warranty page excludes cables from returns for hygiene reasons, while its FAQ says a cable can come back in its original condition.
