JUZEAR POISE Nimbus IEMs Review
A single dynamic driver IEM with a 10mm MACCD driver and three swappable nozzle sets, listed from $54.99. It suits buyers who want a 3.5mm plus 4.4mm cable version or a Type-C DAC version; the page gives 32Ω and 108dB.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a single dynamic driver IEM from $54.99 with three swappable nozzle sets and a choice between 3.5mm plus 4.4mm plugs and a Type-C DAC cable for phones and computers. Look elsewhere if you want a specification section, a frequency response figure or a stated reference for the sensitivity number. Every figure comes from the store's page and no independent test was checked for this review.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a single dynamic driver IEM with swappable nozzles and a Type-C DAC cable option.
- Skip if
- You want a frequency response figure or a stated reference level for the sensitivity.
Why 3.4/5: Held back by a page that gives no specification list as text (the figures sit in a features list), by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and by figures that no independent test was checked for here.
Part of JUZEAR's POISE series, the Nimbus is a single dynamic driver IEM listed from $54.99. The page describes a self-developed 10mm driver with a MACCD diaphragm and an N52 neodymium magnetic circuit, and its features list gives 32Ω and 108dB. Each earpiece is given as 9.2g, and three sets of tool-less nozzles are part of the design. The page text has no specification section: every figure sits in the features list or the description.

Options and pricing
Two versions are listed and both were orderable when the page was read: Nimbus 3.5+4.4mm at $54.99 and Nimbus 3.5+Type C at $59.99. The option field is labelled Color, but the two names differ by connection. Per the page, the first includes a 3.5mm single-ended plug alongside a 4.4mm balanced plug, and the second has a 3.5mm in-line microphone cable paired with a Type-C DAC built on the CX31993 chip. The page text does not say whether the 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs come as two cables or as one swappable cable. It names 9 pairs of ear tips and a PU leather carry case.
How it compares
The KEFINE Klean SV 10mm Dynamic Driver In-Ear Earphone starts at $52 and its spec line names a 10mm DLC diaphragm, against the Nimbus's 10mm MACCD diaphragm from $54.99. The Moondrop LAN II / LAN 2 10mm Dynamic Driver IEMs cost $59.99 and name a glass dome composite diaphragm. The Nimbus page names a Type-C DAC version and three nozzle sets, so it suits buyers who want those; the sibling names, prices and spec lines say nothing on either point, so check their pages if plugs or a DAC cable matter.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Self-developed 10mm MACCD dynamic driver with an N52 neodymium magnetic circuit, per the page
- Two versions: 3.5mm plus 4.4mm plugs, or a Type-C DAC cable with in-line microphone
- Three swappable nozzle sets (White, Red, Black) and 9 pairs of ear tips named on the page
- Four-strand silver-plated copper cable on 0.78mm 2-pin connectors
- Impedance, sensitivity and a 9.2g per-earpiece weight are given in the page text
Worth noting
- No specification section in the page text: 32Ω and 108dB appear only in the features list
- The page text gives no reference level for the 108dB sensitivity and no frequency response
- The page text does not say whether the 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs are two cables or one swappable cable
- The option field says Color, but the options differ by connection
Questions before you buy
What does the Nimbus use for drivers and nozzles?
The page describes a self-developed 10mm dynamic driver with a MACCD diaphragm, a TPEE suspension, a black voice coil and an N52 neodymium magnetic circuit. It includes three tool-less nozzle sets: White is the default, Red raises high frequencies and Black reduces them, per the page.
Which plugs and cable does it come with?
Two versions are listed: 3.5mm plus 4.4mm plugs at $54.99, or a 3.5mm in-line microphone cable with a Type-C DAC (CX31993 chip, 32Bit/384kHz decoding per the page) at $59.99. The page gives a four-strand silver-plated copper cable on 0.78mm 2-pin connectors but does not tie it to one version.
Is it easy to drive?
The page calls it easily driven and lists 32Ω and 108dB. The page text gives no reference level for the 108dB and no power requirement, so that is the page's claim, not a figure.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The page text gives no reference level for the 108dB sensitivity and no frequency response; 32Bit/384kHz is the page's claim for the CX31993 DAC chip, with no output power or measurement, and the under 0.8% distortion has no test conditions.
- Sound claims (warm, gentle, smooth, the three nozzle voicings) come from the page and the store's tags (Warm Sound, Mild V-Shaped Tuning, Balanced Sound); no graph or measurement is in the page text.
- The page text does not say whether the 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs are two cables or one swappable cable, or whether the Type-C version uses the same 0.78mm 2-pin cable as the other.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
