NS Audio NS-5 Dream Bridge IEMs Review
A wired dynamic driver earphone at $239 in Gray or Silver, with 32Ω impedance, 108dB sensitivity and a 10mm carbon nanotube diaphragm unit per the page. It suits buyers who want a cable the store title calls detachable.

Our verdict
The NS-5 suits buyers who want a wired dynamic driver earphone at $239 with 32Ω and 108dB stated and a cable the store title calls detachable. Look elsewhere if you need a named connector type, a weight stated per earpiece or one frequency range; the page gives two. The tuning wording is the page's own. Every spec figure here is the store's own, as no independent test was checked for this review.
- Best for
- Anyone shopping for a wired dynamic driver earphone with a cable the store title calls detachable.
- Skip if
- You need a named connector type or a single frequency range.
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by the list of specification figures in the page text, which covers impedance, sensitivity and distortion; held back by the store's own terms contradicting each other and by no independent test checked for this review.
At $239, the NS Audio NS-5 Dream Bridge is a wired earphone that the store title describes as a dynamic driver design with a detachable cable. The spec section lists a 10mm carbon nanotube diaphragm unit, 32 Ohm impedance and 108db sensitivity, and the page description gives 32Ω and 108dB. The page writes its frequency range two different ways, as 5-40000Hz and as 4Hz-50 KHz.

Options and pricing
Two options are listed, Gray and Silver, each $239 and both orderable when the page was read. The options differ by color only, and the page lists a 3.5mm connector for both. The page's package list names only the NS-5 Dream Bridge earphone, although the page text also describes a wire and gives a 1.2m line length, so the page text does not show what else is in the box.
How it compares
The BQEYZ Weather Series WIND Bone Conduction Hybrid Dynamic Driver In-Ear Monitor is also $239, and its spec line reads Driver Diameter: 12mm. The DUNU DN142 1DD + 4BA + 2 Planar Tribrid Drivers IEMs cost $237.49, and the Binary 1900 10mm DD + 6mm Passive Diaphragm + 4BA Hybrid IEMs cost $230; both name multi-driver layouts. The NS-5 suits buyers who want a dynamic driver design with 32Ω stated at $239; the others suit buyers who prefer a hybrid or tribrid layout at a similar price.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- The page lists impedance (32Ω) and sensitivity (108dB) in both the page description and the spec section.
- The store title calls the cable detachable.
- The page gives a distortion figure (as low as 0.03% at 1 KHz) and a 14g weight.
- The wire is described as 8-core 4-strand oxygen-free copper plus 4-strand thick silver-plated oxygen-free copper, hand-woven.
- Gray and Silver are offered at the same $239 price.
Worth noting
- The frequency range is given two ways: 5-40000Hz in the page description and 4Hz-50 KHz in the spec section.
- The page text gives no connector type for the cable the store title calls detachable: no 2-pin, MMCX or other type is named.
- The package list names only the earphone, with no cable, ear tips or case listed.
- The 14g weight comes with no note on whether it is per earpiece or for the pair.
- The page text gives no driver count.

What we couldn’t verify
- The frequency range is 5-40000Hz in the page description and 4Hz-50 KHz in the spec section. The page description also lists Brand Name: PENON, while the store title and vendor field say NS Audio.
- Claims with no method or test in the page text: distortion as low as 0.03% (1 KHz), a smoothness of ±5db (with hrtf) at 6Hz-20 KHz, a tuning said to have been corrected 15 times, and noise reduction from the shell. The 14g weight has no stated scope.
- The package list names only the earphone, and the page text names no 2-pin, MMCX or other connector type for the cable the store title calls detachable.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
