ROSESELSA RT5000 DAC/Headphone Amp Review
A desktop DAC and headphone amp with two ES9038Pro chips, three headphone jacks, RCA and XLR line outputs and Bluetooth V5.1, listed at $599. The page rates it at up to 1600mW at 32Ω balanced and up to 800mW at 32Ω single-ended.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want a desktop DAC and headphone amp with three headphone jacks, RCA and XLR line outputs, coaxial, USB and optical inputs and Bluetooth V5.1 at $599, with power rated at 32Ω for both balanced and single-ended outputs. Look elsewhere if you need figures with test conditions, since the SNR and THD+N values come without any. The main caveat is that the page describes the build materials two ways and names the maker as Rose Technics while the vendor field reads ROSESELSA.
- Best for
- Desk setups that need RCA and XLR line outputs, three headphone jacks and coaxial, USB, optical and Bluetooth inputs in one unit.
- Skip if
- You want test conditions behind the SNR and THD+N figures, which the page text does not give.
Why 3.5/5: Held back by the store's own contradictory terms; no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
HiFiGO's page gives ROSESELSA as the vendor of the RT5000 (the store title reads Rose Technics RT5000/ RT-5000), a desktop DAC and headphone amp listed at $599. The page names two ES9038Pro DAC chips, ten OPA1612 OPAMPs and a pair of JRC MUSES01 OPAMPs, and rates its output at up to 1600mW at 32Ω balanced and up to 800mW at 32Ω single-ended. It lists 191x144.5x40mm and 822.5 grams.

Options and pricing
One option is listed, RT5000-US Plug-Green, at $599, and it was orderable when the page was read. The option name gives a US plug and the color Green, and the page text lists no other plug or color. The page text also gives no in-the-box list.
How it compares
The FiiO K9 Dual ES9068AS THX AAA QCC5124 Bluetooth 5.1 Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifier is $499.99 and its name gives Bluetooth 5.1 and QCC5124, against the QCC5125 and V5.1 listed here at $599. The Moondrop x SMSL DHA15 Dual CS43198 All-in-One Desktop DAC & AMP is $649.99 and names two CS43198 chips, where the RT5000 page names two ES9038Pro chips. The AUNE S9c Pro MQA 16x DAC with Fully-Discrete Headphone AMP is $679.15. The RT5000 page lists RCA and XLR line outputs and three headphone jacks; read each sibling's page for its own connections.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Output power is rated at 32Ω for both outputs: up to 1600mW balanced and up to 800mW single-ended
- Three headphone jacks (3.5mm, 4.4mm, 6.35mm) and RCA plus XLR line outputs are listed
- Coaxial, USB and optical inputs plus Bluetooth V5.1, with QCC5125 and LDAC, APtX LL and AptX Adaptive named
- Dimensions and weight are listed: 191x144.5x40mm and 822.5 grams
Worth noting
- The DAC's 125dB SNR and -112dB THD+N come with no test conditions
- The page describes the build as wood and leather in one place and an aluminium alloy frame with wood-textured front panels in another
- The maker appears as Rose Technics or RoseTechnics in the store title and text, but the store's vendor field reads ROSESELSA
- Only one option is listed: a US plug in Green
- The page text gives no PCM sample rates, only native DSD256 for the DAC
Questions before you buy
What output power does the page give for the RT5000?
The page rates it at up to 1600mW at 32Ω through the balanced output and up to 800mW at 32Ω through the single-ended output. The page text gives no distortion level for either rating.
Which inputs and outputs does the RT5000 list?
Coaxial, USB and optical inputs plus Bluetooth; 3.5mm, 4.4mm and 6.35mm headphone outputs; and RCA and XLR line outputs. The DAC section lists native DSD256 playback.
Which Bluetooth chip and codecs does the page name?
A Qualcomm QCC5125 chipset with V5.1 and a Kalimba 120MHz programmable DSP. The page names LDAC, APtX LL and AptX Adaptive and refers to other protocols without naming them.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The DAC's 125dB SNR and -112dB THD+N have no test conditions, the output power ratings come with no distortion level, and the page text gives no output impedance for the amplifier.
- The feature list and text call the build wood and leather, then describe an aluminium alloy frame with wood-textured front panels. The maker is Rose Technics or RoseTechnics in the store title and text but ROSESELSA in the vendor field.
- Descriptions of tone, low-end response and soundstage, the no-input-clock-jitter claim and native DSD256 playback with no named input are the page's words, and the page text gives no measurements for them.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
