Singxer SDA-6 PRO2 Dual AK4499EX DAC Review
A DAC built around an AK4191 and dual AK4499EX chips with an XMOS XU316 USB processor, listed at $1,299 in black. Its features list gives 32bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 while the body text says 32-bit/76kHz. It suits buyers who want a digital pre-amp function and an external 10M clock input.

Our verdict
This one is for buyers who want a DAC with AK4191 and dual AK4499EX chips, an XMOS XU316 USB processor, a digital pre-amp function and an external 10M clock input, as the page lists them. Look elsewhere if you need connector types, output levels or measured figures: the page text gives none, and its PCM rate appears as both 768kHz and 76kHz. The spec figures are claims on the store's page, with no outside test of them checked for this review.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a DAC with AK4191 and dual AK4499EX chips and an external 10M clock input.
- Skip if
- You need connector types, output levels or measured figures written out in the page text.
Why 3.4/5: Held back by the missing text specification list on the page, by the store's own terms that contradict each other, and by the fact that no independent test of this model was checked for this review: every spec figure is the store's own.

Options and pricing
One option is listed, SDA-6 PRO2- Black, at $1,299 and orderable when the page was read. The page lists 115V and 230V AC support with an internal toggle switch and a built-in 40-watt customized O-type transformer. No in-the-box list appears in the page text, which also names no output connectors and no audio inputs other than USB.
How it compares
The DAART Yulong Asura AK4499EX+AK4191 Music Streamer & Desktop DAC & Headphone Amplifier is also $1,299 and also names AK4499EX and AK4191 chips; its name adds a music streamer and headphone amplifier, so it suits buyers who want those functions in one unit, while this SDA-6 PRO2 is named a DAC. The SMSL VMV D2R MK2 / MKII Hi-Res Desktop DAC is $1,160 and its spec line names a ROHM BD34302EKV chipset. The Yulong DA11 ES9038PRO Desktop DAC Amplifier Pre-Amp All in One is $1,400 and its name lists DAC, amplifier and pre-amp together.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- DAC chipset named as AK4191 plus dual AK4499EX, with an XMOS XU316 USB processor and a large FPGA
- Features list gives 32bit/768kHz PCM and Native DSD512
- External 10M clock input for the USB interface, with WCK input for the other interfaces, per the page
- Built-in 40-watt customized O-type transformer and 115V or 230V AC support through an internal toggle switch
- Digital pre-amp function and two-level gain modes are in the features list
Worth noting
- The PCM rate is given two ways: 32bit/768kHz in the features list and 32-bit/76kHz in the XMOS paragraph
- The page text names no output connectors and no audio inputs other than USB, so XLR, RCA, coaxial, optical or AES support is not stated
- The page text gives no output level, distortion, SNR or output power figures; "ultra-low distortion" and "high SNR" come without a number
- The test-data line names the SDA-6 PRO, not the PRO 2, and the page text gives no figures after it
- The page spells the model SDA-6 Pro 2, SDA6 Pro 2 and SDA 6 Pro 2 in different places
Questions before you buy
Which DAC chips does the SDA-6 PRO2 use?
The page names an AK4191 plus dual AK4499EX DAC chipset, an XMOS XU316 USB processor and a large FPGA for signal processing.
What sample rates does the page list?
The features list says it decodes 32bit/768kHz PCM and Native DSD512. The XMOS paragraph says up to 32-bit/76kHz PCM and native DSD512, so the PCM figure conflicts. Only the XMOS paragraph ties its figures to an input, the USB processor; the page text gives no rates for other inputs.
Which mains voltages does it list?
The features list names 115V and 230V AC voltage support with an internal toggle switch, and the page lists a built-in 40-watt customized O-type transformer.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- PCM is given as 32bit/768kHz in the features list and as 32-bit/76kHz in the XMOS paragraph; only that paragraph ties its figures to an input (USB), and the page text gives no rates for other inputs.
- The line "Here is the test data for the production version of the SDA-6 PRO, based on the APX555" names the SDA-6 PRO, not the PRO 2, and the page text gives no test figures after it.
- Distortion and SNR are described as "ultra-low" and "high" with no figure in the page text, and the page text gives no output level or output power figure either.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
