Softears RSV-MK2 5BA IEMs Review
An all-balanced-armature IEM listed at $669: five armatures per side in a four-way crossover with four independent tubes, per the page. It gives 7Ω and 122dB/Vrms, a 2-pin 0.78mm connector and a 4.4mm balanced plug with a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter.

Our verdict
A fit for buyers who want an all-balanced-armature IEM with a four-way crossover, a 4.4mm balanced cable and a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter, with impedance and sensitivity stated. Look elsewhere if you need a dynamic driver in the mix, a weight or cable length, or figures confirmed by someone other than the store. The main caveat is that the bass and 'largest BA model used in the industry' claims are the page's own, with no measurement in the page text.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a five-armature IEM with a four-way crossover and a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter.
- Skip if
- You want a dynamic driver in the mix or a stated weight and cable length.
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by specification figures given as text; held back by self-contradicting store terms, and by no independent test of this model being checked for this review.
Softears' RSV-MK2, which the page presents as the successor to the RSV, puts five balanced armature drivers on each side in a four-way crossover with four independent acoustic tubes. HiFiGO lists it at $669. The page gives 7Ω at 1kHz and 122dB/Vrms, a 2-pin 0.78mm connector and a 4.4mm balanced plug, and says a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter is included.

Options and pricing
One option is listed, named RSV-MK2, at $669 and orderable when the page was read. The page shows a crossed-out price of $699 next to $669. It says the cable ends in a 4.4mm balanced termination plug and that a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter is included, and it lists UC ear tips and Type-B balanced silicone ear tips among the features.
How it compares
The Moondrop Variations is $599 and its name counts 2EST+2BA+1DD. The Simphonio RX10 is $640 and its name gives a single 10mm dynamic driver. The DUNU x Effect Audio DK3001BD Limited Edition is listed at $749.99, and its spec line reads 1DD+4BA+4Micro Planar Hybrid Architecture. At $669 the RSV-MK2 is the one here whose page counts only balanced armature drivers; choose it for an all-armature design, and one of the others for dynamic, electrostatic or planar drivers.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Five balanced armature drivers per side with a four-way crossover and four independent tubes, per the page
- Impedance (7Ω at 1kHz), sensitivity (122dB/Vrms), THD+N and two frequency ranges are listed
- A 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter is listed with the 4.4mm balanced cable
- Cable construction is described: 19 strands, 6N7 cryogenically-treated OFC copper, 0.78mm 2-pin connectors
Worth noting
- Two frequency ranges are listed (15Hz-40kHz and an effective 20Hz-20kHz, spelled 'Effect' in the spec line) and the page text does not explain the second range
- The page names dual Knowles CI series 22955, an ED driver and a SWFK driver in the singular, and the page text does not say how these make up the five drivers per side
- Neither a weight nor a cable length is given in the page text
- THD+N is given as below 1% with no frequency or level in the page text

What plug and adapter come with the RSV-MK2?
The page lists 2-pin 0.78mm connectors and a 4.4mm balanced termination plug, and says a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter is included. One option is listed, at $669.
What impedance and sensitivity does the RSV-MK2 list?
7Ω at 1kHz and 122dB/Vrms, with THD+N below 1%. Beyond those figures the page text gives no output-power or source guidance.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. What we couldn’t verify
- The page names dual Knowles CI series 22955, an ED driver and a SWFK driver in the singular, and does not say how these make up five per side; it also gives no support for calling the Knowles unit the largest BA model used in the industry.
- Frequency response is given as 15Hz-40kHz and, separately, as an effective 20Hz-20kHz (spelled 'Effect Frequency Response'); THD+N is given as below 1% with no frequency or level stated in the page text.
- Descriptions of bass, midrange, treble and 'reference-grade' audio performance are the page's own; the page text gives no measurement or third-party figure.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
